SRT awarded Panama Canal VTS Contract SRT, the global provider of maritime tracking technologies, products and turn-key system solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract to supply the Panama Canal with its GeoVS maritime display and data management VTS system. Small companies can raise money quickly through a placing with willing institutional investors to access money immediately and to keep the costs down.... To go to shareholders via an open offer can be costly against the amount of money that is been raised... This particular raise may have cost about £200K of the proceeds........not economical at this level... And yes...it is legal!!

LONDON (Alliance News) - Metal Tiger PLC Wednesday said it has made a strategic investment in fellow London-listed Conroy Gold & Natural Resources PLC totalling GBP125,000. The natural resources investment company said it has acquired 675,675 shares in Conroy priced at 18.5 pence each. Metal Tiger has also received an equal amount of share warrants that can be exercised over 30 months at 37.0 pence. Conroy Gold shares were up 30% to 26.00 pence per share on Wednesday afternoon. If Conroy Gold shares trade over an average of 100.0 pence per share for over 10 days or more, then the warrants will either have to be exercised or cancelled, Metal Tiger said. Metal Tiger holds a 6.1% stake in Conroy Gold following the transaction. Metal Tiger also extended a deal it struck with Eurasia Mining concerning a tailings project in Russia. The pair have been given an extra three months to evaluate whether or not they want to take a majority stake in the tailings project from the owner OOO Golden Sands. Metal Tiger shares were down 2.1% to 4.70 pence per share Wednesday.

Well you can currently sell in the market @ 10p....so at the moment, the market thinks its a non runner.....the 3p cash offer, that is!!

This comes a month after Petroceltic said it was considering an offer. Sunny Hill Ltd, a unit of Worldview, said it would pay 3 pence for each Petroceltic share in issue, representing an 83% discount to the stock's closing price yesterday. Sunny Hill said it believed Petroceltic's equity value was close to zero, given its financial position. Earlier this week, Petroceltic said it had received a waiver of repayments under its senior bank facility until March 4. Shares in the company have lost 92% of their value since October 2014, while Brent oil prices have fallen by more than 60%. StockMarketWire.com Conroy Gold and Natural Resources has discovered an extensive (700m by 300m) gold-in-soil anomaly near Rockcorry in County Monaghan. The discovery lies approximately 7Km south-west of the company's Glenish gold target in Co. Monaghan and 14Km south-west of Clontibret where the company proposes to develop its first gold mine in the area. The discovery is located within the 30 mile (50Km) gold trend that the Company has outlined and its position, south-west of the company's Glenish gold target and north-east of the company's Slieve Glah gold target, adds further evidence as to the continuity of this gold trend. This gold trend runs from County Armagh in Northern Ireland across Counties Monaghan and Cavan in the Republic of Ireland. The trend lies along the major geological structure known as the Orlock Bridge Fault. Four gold-in-soil samples in the anomaly were above 20ppb gold and a further five above 10ppb gold. The anomaly will be further investigated but from the company's experience such levels of gold-in-soil samples have tended to be associated with gold-in-bedrock. The anomaly remains open on its Northern side.

Irish Cement has confirmed that the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission carried out an inspection on May 14 at the company's plant in Platin, Co Meath. The competition investigation was looking for evidence that the CRH subsidiary is abusing a dominant position in the bagged cement market. Irish Cement is one of the largest players in the Irish market and is part of Ireland's biggest company, CRH, which has operations in Europe, the US and Asia. In a statement today, Irish Cement said it fully facilitated the inspection and is continuing to co-operate with CCPC. It added that inspections regarding competition policies, procedures and practices are an accepted part of the business environment around the world. "Irish Cement operates to the highest business standards across all elements of its operations and is confident that it has no issue in relation to competitive practice," the company added.
