Rising raw material costs, rising input costs, = rising inflation. What can individuals do as a hedge against inflation - we are doomed. Very difficult times ahead for individuals - perhaps.

The calculus sale gives a bit more liquidity in the market which is not a bad thing. Long term holders /( believers) are not selling and so it is difficult to form the market. It will be interesting to see the traders reaction later in the day. Still a good long term hold for myself.

Jubber I am invested in BT and agree with you about the Conn man. I highlighted the fact he was on the BT board a couple of months ago. He is a fraud and absolutely no asset to BT or any other company. I am also invested in CNA and well down in that company, my BT investment is slightly up and I have received some great divi's in the past. I still think BT is a buy at these levels as a mid term hold. EOA

It appears people are loading up this pm - presumably they are expecting (very) good news. I also am hoping for good results but better than that a robust business plan and details of how to solve the strike actions - no one wants poor labour relations with the guys doing the work. sorry only half a story but neighbours girl friend has been offered immunotherapy at the Churchill Hosp. in Oxford, he didn't know answers to my q's and didn't feel I could pry too much. However, are scancell involved in this trial? If so phase 3 under way very soon. If not who is it? If /when I hear more detail which is relevant I will post. Sorry only half a story - or even less!! Don't fret about the share price not continuing to keep an upwards straight line, it is bound to fluctuate. Things are progressing on a number of fronts, you all keep reminding me the science is great, the BOD is strong and has been strengthened, funds in place, grants been given, new technical staff been employed etc. Of course things can go wrong but we have only invested because we think we understand the science , the product and a time frame that gives the company a competitive edge. ( I understand more of the science because of some BB posters - you all know who they are!!) So if we are in pole position when we reach market I may be able to go part time, while some on here will retire! Please continue to keep posting the relevant information to keep me up to speed.

Markets should close at 12-30 on Christmas eve, if a deal is struck there will be a steady rise in many stock prices until the end of the year. The markets may then take a rest into the new year. Did that make you feel better Aus - writing all that rubbish? I am pleased I only had time to skim read it! Better things to do today. A bit sad really if it affects you in that way. I suppose - get help or a life sums it up.
