Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
I think there should have been an RNS, at least by today, giving details of the OO and how under sub subscribed it was. I know this is AIM but the only details are what has been posted on this board. I suspect you are as accurate as anyone!! I only applied for my allocation and so never had the numbers to work out take up %'s etc. Take care all. DEBs
I thought 112p this time last year was a good price for stobs, a long haul back from here. Fingers crossed for a steady rise and not too many bumps along the way. Too low to sell up, can only sit and watch, average down - perhaps but it is a long way down and perhaps there are better investments around for some of the hard earned. Take care esp. the LTH's
'CNA staff to be balloted re strike action' Ok the first thing the board should do is cut their own very high salary packages to show what is expected. Management across so many companies have forgotten to 'lead by example'. They then do not have credibility.
Hi LL,
23-06 tonight WSW 22 degrees above the horizon. Not visible now in the mornings, so tell the cat to go back to sleep.
That is if Loch invar is county wexford. Look on 'Night sky' www.timeanddate.com go to the sun and moon drop down for night sky - all will be revealed!! Good luck for a clear night. My best view was 04-45 on the 12th of July, fantastic.
As you can see it has moved, not in the NE now, you may need binoculars? Sorry folks for the off topic but things like comet and even the ISS have a fascination - 250 miles high and just drifts over - 30 mins later its over Australia!
Very good news. It is interesting how sentiment changes so quickly with lots of shares. Out of favour for long periods of time a new CEO who, so far, has not changed the policy in any way. Conn was always going to sell assets, which ones was never fully declared / finalised. However I feel the mood with CNA has changed for the better - long may it continue (at least for another 40p!) I know the regulator is holding us back, unfairly, in my view, but BGX should be allowed to compete with the cut price sharks and get us moving there. Out of interest and for what it is worth British Bulls are saying a hold after last weeks strong buy - well buy anyway!. I wish last weeks RNS had included a salary freeze or even cut for the board - directors have to take a pay cut back to realistic numbers. Fingers crossed for all LTH's.
as you say Friday will be interesting. New chief exec. may want to attach all the bad news with one sweep of the pen - in which case it could be carnage! However he may want to paint a rosy picture of the future and we may get a rerate upwards.
That is the gamble with CNA, a long downward pattern with no good news for a long time. Good luck to all of us - with the old problem - hold, sell at a loss, average down (mine is 82p) bury your head in the sand! Kick the cat! not literally.
Lets have the news and then make a decision. Good luck all on Friday.
I wouldn't take much notice of the ex Australian Prime minister he was the idiot who told the British journalist to clear of back to the UK when asked a simple question that he couldn't answer - he was as mad as a hatter with policies to match. he nearly ran Australia into the ground and they were lucky to get rid when they did. He was a left wing Trump and they are worse than the real thing. Why does he want to raise his profile with stupid comments at the moment.
I think you will find BT will not need the USA but may well do business on there own terms. As for your chicken comments, that is history and just scaremongering, as we will always have choices when we go shopping, the only time we don't is when you buy from a take away and then you have never had any control on what you are eating.
Do HFD manufacture any of their own bikes etc, if so any in the UK? Do they buy all their products from one country?
If they import the lot it is time to start a little bit of their own production, one product, mid range and lots of them. Basic frame but massive number of optional extras, it cuts costs but gives people the message they are getting bespoke. Which in a way they are.
I wrote to the UKRI on the 17th of May and received a reply from Debbie (in reception?) saying she would forward the email to the relevant dept. I have not had an acknowledgement or reply. I have not included the article here as we have all seen it. It could be a good idea for some more people to contact UKRI with a request for them to support Nottm Uni research etc, and ask why Nottm Uni. and scancell are not being grant aided in their quest for a Covid 19 vaccine.
Hello,
The following extract has been lifted from a recent publication, I am a little concerned the company has not had an acknowledgement regarding its application for a grant. It sounds like the company (and the University) is doing all it can to develop a possible vaccine for covid 19. If the research team are working hard, taking a pay cut etc etc I am sure a response to their funding request would be prudent, at very minimum out of politeness. The country needs a vaccine to control Covid 19 and it looks to me as if scancell deserves funding more than any other Company / University. Please look into their application and firstly acknowledge receipt of their application for grant aid and then fast track grant aid if you also consider their research is as promising as the following article makes it out to be. - (Posted for interest and perhaps people to contact UKRI if you think it may help) Take care.
never read such a selfish rant on any of these boards - 'pippa silly girl' - look in the mirror and and see what a load of nonsense you are talking - from start to finish. My this, my that, selfish little girl. Start to enjoy the things around you and get a life. Take a 20 minute walk from home and enjoy it, make a plan, write it down then do it, google local walks from home. You won't need the makeup or the designer weekend suitcase for a twenty minute walk.
the old PO was slow and old but had great innovative people, clever engineers and design engineers . They were working at the cutting edge of technology and creating great switchgear etc. Lots of noise and mechanical stuff and the gradual move to electronic - all designed in house. Now is the time to bring a new design team together and design and build in house. Forget Huawei all together at very least a JV with a European firm but there is enough brain power and CAD capability within BT and other UK companies to do this now. Rolls Royce electronic engineers would bite your hand off for a job and come up with the goods. You guys who are fixated with the copper asset - have you seen the price of copper?
No one wants the stuff at the moment. Let us get BT moving as a UK company with global aspirations rather than an inward looking company relying on overseas technology. With a clear plan the government watchdog would be told to clear off and leave a developing company to march onwards for the good of the country. Also have you seen Ian Conn - ex Centrica is on the BT board - why?? He has nothing to offer - the board needs a shake up. Put fleesy on the board he has more insight than the overpaid good for nothings who are running us into the ground. Take care and stay safe.
Yes a little late but great to see in print. Well done Nottingham. Many an unhappy day spent at Fairham comprehensive school. Never a favourite of Mr Thom, you could never tell which way he was looking - it was the glass eye that had you fooled! Let us hope SCLP can come up with the goods.
Lots of doom and gloom about and that is understandable. Which type of business will flourish which ones will struggle or worse. Exciting because a business's previous business model may not be right for the future and so the ones who can adapt and change are the ones to flourish. Those who tread the same old path will struggle. Can Lloyds adapt? Negative responses lead to stagnation and lack of creativity and therefore at best stagnation. Interesting and perhaps exciting times!
well done fleecy. A well constructed letter to the Dept of 'couldn't care less' about British Industry. We know it has to change PDQ or we go under as a country - company by company taken over by any country who manipulates their currency to impose their communist views. (I wonder who that is!). We also know change is needed on a massive scale and governments and their civil servants, as history tells, are not able to respond appropriately and quickly. We are not doomed but need a business head to make plans - Sharon White did massive damage. Take care. Debs 1
