Public mining companies are specifically banned from stating in situ or in ground values. You might ponder why.

EUR 3.1 million is owed by the company in unpaid fees alone, why shouldn't the company's owners debate the point and how it might weigh on their investment?

The unpaid amounts owing to former and current directors do not form a debt but they do sit uncomfortably as liabilities on the balance sheet, waived generously each year for going concern purposes. The size of the liability relative to market cap is off putting for major investors so ideally they'd be resolved sooner rather than later, but hard to see how it can be done. Company doesn't have the cash and settling with equity far too dilutive at these levels, so I'm guessing they will just continue to be rolled over for the foreseeable.

I guess whether you believe the exploration potential or not, Clontibret is the flagship and has to first be proven viable. That might then open up a district play and CGNR has the whole thing locked up - that's certainly positive - but first things first.

Credibility is weighing on this share so they need to deliver a viable project at Clontibret. The market is not giving any value to the exploration potential because it is too speculative. In my view the company is harming shareholders' interests by continuing with that narrative and should keep the message focused on delivering its flagship project.

The JV deal underpins 32p per share so a good update on the JV work proposals and decent interims you would think should see us back towards those levels.

I would prefer that they focus investor attention on plans to add value in the mid term, rather than old information about low grade prospects drilled 2.5 years ago without any ore grade intersections. It's a dud prospect, why give it any profile?

But when you set yourself out as a mine development company then yes, you start trading on facts. Suggest you look up the Lassonde Curve for reference.

No point discussing open pits for areas where there is no resource. The current pit design contains 440,000 ounces as per Tetra Tech study.

It all depends on the shape and grade of the deposit. The deeper you go the more waste you have to remove to access the ore. There is always an economic cut off for pit depth. May as well stay realistic.

The drill layout means new holes would be required but the question is why drill deep holes when the current plan is to use open pit mining?
