A prefeasibility programme would indicate genuine intent to progress project development. The market would take confidence from that. Infill drilling to upgrade Inferred Resource to Indicated so we can get a maiden Reserve, met testwork, prelim mine design, environmental baseline, permitting framework and updated economics.
Step out / exploration drilling can happen in parallel and any resource extensions included in an upgraded scope for a full feasibility study, but on its own it only offers more jam tomorrow.

Completion of JV conditions are largely outside of CGNR's control so that doesn't bother me.
Very disappointing announcement today. The maiden resource here was in 2007 and 15 years later here we are drilling 8 step out holes.

The rising price forecasts to which you refer presumably make commodity based assets more valuable and therefore more expensive to buy. So increasingly less affordable for Ormonde with its declining cash reserves and low share price.

Why would the time be right because of rocketing commodity prices? Surely it makes doing a deal harder. The value of the acquisition target goes up, while Ormonde's cash and share price have gone down.

Two sides to a trade.
Trade gets classed according to it being priced above or below the mid.
It's very simple.

The fundamental basis for a trade is that there is both a buyer and a seller. If the trade is settled below the mid price at the time, it is classed as a "Sell" (seller was willing to accept a price below the mid). If the trade is settled above the mid, it is classed as a "Buy" (buyer was willing to pay over the mid).

Your 11.04 trade was priced at 24.95p. The mid at the time was 25p, so the trade was classed as a sell.

Free float here is 91%.

The foundation of the investment case is the quality of the technical results and how these are received by the market. The core issue here is development of Clontibret, and for that unfortunately we still have no visibility on timeframes nor technical programme.

Nothing of note in the interims then. The language indicates the JV management committee is not yet constituted and shareholder agreement not done yet. No indication of when a work plan will be announced, presumably only after the Mines Royal transfer is complete for which no timeframe is indicated.
