Great post but unfortunately this is what you get with these type of bulletin boards. LSE is nearly as bad as ADVFN. It will never change because nearly everyone has an agenda. Either people trying to get in lower by trashing the stock or people ramping the hell out of a stock. Then just your plain trolls who have nothing better to do in life. Shame really but that is the world we live in because of social media and people hiding behind a keyboard etc etc!! All the best

Asia, yes you are right with the $1. It’s €4 or $5 first day of trading on the Nasdaq

* 4 requirements!

I’ve been googling the minimum requirements for stocks to be on the Nasdaq. It suggests there are 3 requirements.

1) Net income has to be at least $750K

2) A minimum public float of 1 Million shares

3) At least 300 share holders

4) A minimum share price of $4

The Nasdaq is suggesting CDT don’t currently meet number 1

So eff knows!!!!

BIGDAVE, based on what you have found regarding the VWAP calculation it suggests it’s not as simple as getting the daily closing SP average over a 10 day period. So my calculation could be way out

This whole IPO strategy VELA have needs to be questioned. Imagine if they had stuck £250K into say NVIDIA before AI stocks went barmy. Just an example

It’s what they intend to do with the money which the market may not trust VELA to invest it wisely. Or even exercise it at the right time.

We only get less or more than the PUT value if at the time of selling the shares the SP was below or above the VWAP which determined the amount of shares VELA got.

THG, think this may have been answered already.

Individual daily closing SPs for CDT that are below $5 and above $10 still count towards the 10 day VWAP. It’s only the average at the time of exercising the PUT that can’t be below and above? Is that right?

VWAP currently 11.18 based on the last 10 trading days

If I have done my maths correctly, the rolling 10 day VWAP for CDT up to and including yesterdays closing price is 11.61 so let’s see if the current SP of CDT can remain where it is for a while

Makes the VWAP even worse. Closer to $10
