Similar thing happened at VELA. Merger went through relating to an investment they have with CDT. VELA didn’t RNS it until the day after. Got in and then RNS issued which the SP went up 50%

I did buy in when companies house showed the CVA listing which was a day before I think the RNS came out to confirm it. But sold in the 14s because there was nothing to stop the SP from going back down.

All the best I hope it works out. Don’t get me wrong I’m tempted to buy back in but not just yet.

Sharebell, you might be right. Who knows. All opinions on here obviously. What I do know is that ICON have had 10 months to decide what they want to do with making it into a viable business. RTO was mentioned 10 months ago as a possibility. 10 months on and no concrete info of any progression what so ever.

If there is no positive news anytime soon then another consolidation maybe on the cards. Avoid for now

It all depends on the VWAP at the time of exercising the PUT option (previous 10 days) but it is not as simple as working out the average SP over a 10 day period which I think Dave mentioned on here previously. Although I guess we must be very close or have got the minimum $5 per share by now to get the maximum number of shares allowed. If we have VELA need to exercise it and then hold the shares until CDT SP starts to climb back up

I’m no expert but regarding the decline of the SP and how this affects the Nasdaq requirements, if it drops below $1 for for 30 days it is in breach of the rules. There are other requirements as well. If it does go below $1 for 30 days I think the Nasdaq put a company under a notice period before being threatened with being delisted.

I bailed this morning. May buy back in if the CDT share price stabilises. It’s so volatile.currently
