Ambrose is almost certainly going to meet the milestone payments by way of issue of shares and not cash.

I am sure everyone would have preferred cash payments, which would negate or reduce need for future dilution but the question I ask myself is are we better off with Ambrose striving to commercialise or waiting for another partner with deeper pockets? At least the objectives of the companies should be aligned and so I will take the former option in these circumstances.

If the product turns out to be a winner we may well be better off overall with the Ambrose shares.

Your story is a lot like my own Mygainmyloss, except that I was in with FOGL around the same time although I am a few months off drawing my pension and buying that playtime convertible.

BAE is almost everywhere in defence but it has not captured the imagination of investors in quite the same way as say Rheinmetal. Is that perhaps because the French seem hell bent on keeping us out of most European military projects (no doubt to favour their own)?

Russia is publicly threatening its intention to forcibly absorb countries that were previously part of the former Soviet Union and which today are both EU and NATO members strongly opposed to that outcome.

No one is attacking Russia apart from the Sovereign country of Ukraine which it has been attacking since before 2014.

Hello JC01. Perhaps not but it worked for Summit Pharma a company I held until recently and which took up a dual listing a few years back. It is no longer listed in the UK.

I guess we need to wait and see how it is received but if Oil and Gas remain in favour it may provide the tailwind we need.

When DEC lists in the US it is entirely possible that it could be a catalyst for an uplift in the SP. I have seen this with several UK listed companies that either sought a dual listing or listed in the US alone.

Just pointing out that customers have not been named and whilst PepsiCo might be one of them (?) and we are entitled to speculate, there is no certainty, so best not to infer it’s a done deal. If the markets were certain SALT might have a much higher share price presently.

But where does the RNS say that Customer 3 has factories in all of those locations. Could it not be that the other two customers have factories in those locations?

Of course they are not the same size but where does the RNS say they are dealing with the biggest supplier of crisps to Belgium?

Roger & Roger has a turnover of €220m and export to 20 countries so it is sizeable and 12.5k lbs delivery sounds like it may be more in keeping with a company of that scale.

Why must it be PepsiCo? Is your research unimpeachable?

I’ll wait for the official RNS to deliver the message rather than rely on a hunch. I have been in the game too long to be taken in by hype, even where the circumstantial evidence looks good.

Either way I am long and have no axe to grind. If we sign up with or sell out to PepsiCo then I should be able to pat myself on the back for making a good decision, even if I could have done better buying later.

You seem to be rather euphoric about PepsiCo and a potential link to Microsalt Dunk.

I did my research and first invested in TEK and Microsalt an over four years ago. In fact, I have even highlighted the possibility that MicroSalt could be in Walkers low salt crisps on the TEK board a couple of years ago.

I bought because I believed in the concept of reducing sodium intake and the health benefits and cost reduction that brings.

I would be interested to know when you got in but it’s a bit rich telling me you have proven I have not done my research and have no idea what I am talking about. Unless you have inside information you don’t know for sure, do you?

We would both like to think it will happen but only you are posting multiple comments to effect it is a near certainty. I don’t think that’s especially clever.

Some people could be investing money they can’t afford to lose thinking it’s a done deal, so always best that folks should do their own research.
