11.46 - I can't work out if you're being genuine. Positive if the share price rises and negative if it falls. Whilst I appreciate you've commented on here for years and therefore have suffered the same value reduction as many (including me), if you are affected in this way by marginal intra day directional moves I'm not even sure blue chip stock investment would hold much solace. I try not to micro analyse every move or let it affect the bigger picture, if Peregrine and other assets work then it will have been a sound investment

18.25 - I think there is a fair chance given spending activity and ongoing lease requirements that there could be a CR, to be prudent. That buffer has unfortunately served us well in the past and can’t think what the alternative would have looked like.
I think with lower activity on the slope this drill season we’ll keep strong demand for the drill and any shares...

Months lol. I was thinking of information of an ‘unknown’ nature rather than the regular review documents.
Shouldn’t be impatient so I guess progress updates will be welcomed and agree, we can move quick to drill, drilling and results given depths.
Be interesting to see if DE had the ability and desire to kick this off ahead of plan like Pantheon decided to.
That would mix up those waiting on the side lines a bit.

Be interesting to see how 88E get along in the next 2-3 weeks. A little bit challenging at the moment, lots of uncertainty regarding the domestic and global economy and what material progress can be made in the covid debatable. Be interesting so see what impact Biden’s inauguration has sentiment assuming that doesn’t decend into US civil war lol
Closer to home, some attention will be drawn to other north slope activity that precedes ours but in general, a lot less activity from the majors this year from what I can gather so maybe that will help us. I always get a little nervous if there is a quiet few weeks run up to a drill (apart from comms regarding scheduled activity updates) wonder if DW has any more progress news from 88e’s other assets (too early for FO news unless leftfield HRZ progress, not sure if there’s any other lab work we’re waiting on? Seebee? That would certainly be valuable to supporting our current level/pushing it higher/avoiding a materialistic retrace.

10.11 - retracing is all part of the process. Still significant improvements over 6-9 months.
This factor is a little more material now with the Umiat deal, but ultimately we still need to get something successful out of Peregrine. Not long to wait though as drilling and results timings will be short order compared to our historic deep drilling.

22.14 - I think that seems like a given . If this relates to talitha drill, I have not said at any point I don’t think or I hope it doesn’t work...that would be short sighted and counterproductive. Of course it depends what they find and if it’s likely to come into our average as I understand not all 4 targets are expected to.

I know more than you think without it being an alter ego (Maybe one day you can ask DW, he’d vouch for me) and a reasonable about most regulars on here and certainly have an opinion about their style and motives.

I’d expect not to have much support and unlikely to materially change supply/demand, ipso facto, price.

10.24 - well put Brom ...clearly to others there should be an understanding that the drill window is a function of weather given the open and close parameters and that weather appears to be getting more volatile. This year the weather forecast seems to promote a good window of operations...but that’s a forecast, we’ll only know as we progress through the winter. But March end or May end are possible and have been experienced.

13.36 - what’s the CoS on that Phron? I reckon about as much chance as this season’s drill hitting Harrier deep. Not sure where you got the 8.6bn shares from and no reference to options, but bypassing that and using your basic 15:1 ratio equates to an offer worth around 1.5p...x2.5 multiple of current. And whilst that might look great on paper, which you have always gone to great lengths to show,...I can’t see it. More chance of a reverse takeover given DWs deal rate.
Anyway that aside. I’ve witness very little of your imaginary, often fantastical, maths coming to pass over the years so I’ll stick this in the same bucket as Kanye West being successful next time out at the US presidential elections, or if you’re of and older generation, maybe Elvis Presley crashing into the moon in a space ship.

15.44 - But over recent weeks 88e has benefited from rises when the general market was a bit flatter. Maybe better to appreciate that and hope it continues.

- even if it does (say 20%) you’d give back a percentage for the sell and buy spread.
- then fees
- if you sell out and want to get back in and volumes have dropped or it bounced you’d reduce any upside.
- anyone supporting a funding this close to drill is likely to hold for the drill.
- if you don’t try to take advantage (if there there turned one) then you remove the risks above and in my view it’ll be at least where it is or higher into the drill anyway.

So in summary my personal strategy is not to sweat the small stuff and stick where I am.
