The thing I do not understand about the IPO is how the take over could be achieved. After flotation, it would be much harder for Raza to make decisions without consulting the shareholders (who may not see this potential). It would inevitably mean a share dilution (the IPO gives Raza the cash, not the company). Perhaps I am wrong.....

Agreed, I know you said that JW has steered the ship well during Covid - and that is almost certainly true because the company was in a much worse state that QTX, but it does appear that JW got us into this mess in the first place.

I still believe that Trak has great potential, and to repeat you again, perhaps Microlise will unlock this.

But for now, it is back to the tumbleweed and long distance hope that the share price will increase.....

We have not had your thoughts of late, what do you think about the update, Microlise IPO and where Trak may fit it?

Actually, the chairman's statement makes it clear

"Currently Insurance devices supplied amount to 16% more than the corresponding period last year" - so a like for like.

Can anyone translate this for me....(sorry if someone has already explained)

"Revenues in the current financial year from insurance clients increasing following the resumption of driving tests with recent device shipments 16% ahead of last year resulting in revenues to end of May being 28% ahead of last year. However the recovery from lockdown is slower than the corresponding period last year."

Is it saying that there are 16% more devices shipped (28% more revenue) one quarter into this FY than the entire 2020 FY; or, is it saying when compared to the same time frame i.e. first quarter 2020 vs first quarter 2021. And, why no update on the number of connections.

Then, what does the last sentence mean? If things are up (based upon first sentence - irrespective of time frame), then what is the message they are trying to give?

a double edged sword..... I would rather a buy-out than director buys - but I do think they should buy if they are not in discussions - again, I don't know their personal circumstances - come on Trakm8!

I am sure I have asked this before - does the net debt include the deferred HMRC payments - I suspect not, but if I am right then why are they boasting about a reduction in net debt?

Agree about the bland statement. Personally, I am glad they have reduced their R&D spend. It was always too much.

The price has risen quite nicely over the last few weeks. Is it just us buying? Hopefully, there is some fresh blood as well.

yep, I meant 18p today - ok, not huge volumes but it looks like it is coming under some pressure.

Good point about the positive investment statement that an IPO puts out for the industry.

Fingers crossed - however, I do suspect it will be hard to move significantly - I am thinking of that 75,000 share purchase at circa 25p on the last spike - I am sure whomever that was will want out (and many others) - could be wrong, often are.

18p is looking a tough nut to crack.....

Yes, I did wonder if the share will take a hit when it announces, yet again, an 18% drop yoy. Hopefully, they will give a positive statement about the future.

Does anyone fancy walking me through the scenarios for Microlise buying Trakm8 in the near future? Would it be pre-IPO, part of the IPO or at some later date. I'm interested in the mechanics of how this would be achieved. e.g. if it was part of the IPO could it be that we would be asked to swap our shares, what scenario would be more likely.

Ok, dreaming here - but nothing else to do - at least our next update is soon. I still believe there is not enough market noise to make me feel that Microlise will take Trakm8 soon. I would have thought this would have been discussed with the broker (and they will leak something over a pint with their mates).
