I doubt it was a pump and dump. I think it went up on rumour a little but too much and then people sold into that i.e. nothing planned. Nice that somebody got 50% profit (would love to have that)

A bit tongue in cheek on a quiet day, but I thought I would turn it on its head. Was yesterday's dump done to enable people to buy cheaper today? Honest answer, no clue and not that bothered in the sense that I agree with Pianista and want a lot more than 25p per share. I'd be happy with over 50p a share (obviously, the higher the better so prefer a take over).

Lots of activity for 5 ish minutes today, but did not affect the share price (I would have thought activity like this would have triggered the MMs).

Is trakm8 providing this tech?

I suppose one take out from the appointment is that her mother (if that is the relationship) would not be persuading her daughter to join Trak if it was doomed. One assumes she has helped her daughter get the role as part of a solid career path.

And Microlise continues it ascent.....I am not sure that the increase in share price has anything to do with Trakm8 - the market hates Trak, so any whispers of a takeover would have to be at a bargain price to make Microlise go up - so the reason for Microlise's increase is lack of shares.

Sorry, I meant the nepotism (again). LinkedIn has the appointment in June so a little bit of old news today (not that we would have seen it).

As for a takeover, I guess this depends on i) JW's ego ii) The BoD's realistic view of this financial year iii) Whether Raza is actually interested. My hope is that Raza sees the signs of recovery and wants to act sooner rather than later to acquire it. I just hope JW isn't going to be blocking it for no good reason.

This may sound bizarre given what we have been through these last few years, but why do you think it is a risky play? Obviously, if you are over-exposed that is one thing - but Trak does not appear to be in the same dire place as before. Ok, only time will tell but I think the company is stronger than it was before the profit warning (ok, needs more profit but did waste a lot of money)
