Completely agree. Although, it is not a given that the telematics package will be taken by the fleet. Here is a snippet from https://multifleet.com/fleet-management/ which reads well.

In my rose tinted view of the world, I assume they need more capacity because of more devices/clients (which may affect the stability of the platform)

That's the problem - you stay here and watch other benefit from the recovery. But the minute you sell it will probably rocket ;o)

I hope you are right. To be honest, I get confused by this connection figure. What happened to the 40K units (and further £24K from memory). Did they go live, implying significant loss of devices elsewhere; or did they get halted because of covid (and if so, will they come on-line any time soon).

Does the connected figure also include optimisation? - it does not appear to be necessary to have a tracking device to route plan (upload a CSV file) - yes, an all encompassing solution would also utilise tracking and ePOS.

Finally, what happened about DVS? You would have thought they would have done well in this regard - especially considering they operate varying levels of FORS. I did not see anything in the last TU about this.

I may sound negative - I am not. I have faith in the long term prospects of the company, just bored waiting for some signs of a turn-around (in terms of the market agreeing)

I think they are replacing - LinkedIN peaked at 126 employees (this year) and is now 121. Obviously, this is not an iron clad metric.

I could be wrong but I can't help thinking there must be a large buy order going on in the background. i.e. how the hell hasn't the price gone done with all these sales recently. Either that or the bid ask is not correct and the true range is 15 - 16.5.

Perhaps I am overthinking this.

It looks like they are polishing their optimisation interface.

Give the share sales of late, I am surprised we have not gone down. Hopefully a good sign.

I'm guessing it is more a question of demand i.e. a lot of cheap insurance devices need to be made by Trakm8 to match the less frequent output of more lucrative fleet devices.

That said, The company I work for has been told by one of our Chinese suppliers that there are component shortages. I am not sure how serious that is and what it affects.

These are back of a cigarette packet calculations but the debt repayment is either scary [high monthly outgoings] or good [paid off] (I am not sure which).

£5.3m to be paid off (or extended) by Oct 2023 (staring Sep 2021) means they have to find £220k per month
£1.8m to be paid off over the next two financial years - so another £75K per month
£1.4m to be paid off by 2024 if I remember correctly (starting Sept 2021) - so another £40k per month.

They have £2.4m in the bank - if that was put to debt repayment then it would last around 7 months (not including interest).

I guess what I am saying is this is the moment they need to start making money. Please correct me if I am wrong

Thanks, it appears that tax deferrals are like a magic money tree. I am not complaining, it gives them the headroom to stay in business.

I'm not sure JW would accept such a bid (perhaps, that is why one has not materialised).

If somebody wants to explain the net debt to me I would be grateful. I see £5.3m term loan plus £0.5m (and the MSIE £1.4m) - £2.4 cash in hand and £1.8m deferrals = £4.9m net debt - clearly accountants are not my strong suit.

It would be good to get an update - feel they could provide more info than their terse statement in Feb.

Also, I agree - a behind the scene purchase which has yet to attract sellers (to fill it).

Nice to see the share price go up without any obvious trades......perhaps it is the "end of lockdown" effect that Nosugar describes.

Thanks, I have a similar view of it. Whatever the outcome, hopefully they will find the right team (and it does look like they still have the money to be able to employ people)
