Oh Peeplepower is getting even funnier with their Hindsight Analysis. Boo would never be a share for Buffett for the person asking. Boo's cashflow is much too unpredictable & they have no clear most & questionable intertwinings of management in the corporate structure.

Those whose sentiments move them to anxiously call for an RNS will be in over their heads, hence the panic. Perhaps heed the sign and realign your position with your risk tolerance.

The law leaves so much wiggle-room that making an inference based on an absence of RNS announcement is to clutch at straws.

Which company's annual report are you quoted in Velo?

If it's undervalued, what do you value it at and how?

Which law obliges them to issue an RNS in that circumstance?

I've also asked PP to share an example of their daily research so the board can see how it's done. They didn't respond.

IC rated BT a buy at 253p. IC are probably worse than tea leaves. How can they advise buy at that price but hold at this? BT looks set for a long excursion under 100p. Too much debt, capex and pension obligations; no free cash-flow for dividends, not even in 22.

@Bricks, I wondered if that was what he meant, but if so, I don't get why he thinks it wouldn't deplete profits — they source about 40% of stock in the UK. Switching to international suppliers to avoid this would be a bit of an own goal since BOO is all about speed; quality control must become harder too. If they went this road as the author suggests, they'd winnow their biggest advantage and a key part of the business model. The author skips over that.

This is confusing. Is he arguing that BOO, because of their UK focus on production, have higher costs? If those £4/hr costs were to more than double to the minimum wage, suppliers would have to charge BOO more for products, which in turn would eat into BOO's bottom line.

The reasoning in the article is muddled.

But if 'everybody knows' BT is currently undervalued, this same everybody would be insatiably buying shares, pushing the price up to the true value. What if the current £10bn market cap is actually right?

Boo's business model is unsustainable – it's based on dodgy practice. Take that away and it's bye bye profits, bye bye Boo. A long long weekend for their investors. Peoplepower is sure to have some soothing nonsense to explain all away...

Can see it sliding into the 80s if the bid rumour is quashed. The debt is far too high but a rights issue could sort that.
