Things beyond boo's control are putting the business model under stress. Inflation, accelerating cost inflation, supply chain problems, distribution problems – all will erode the bottom line for some time. That's before WW3 is fully priced in over the whole market.

Issuing debt instead of equity would be an option now the headroom on the revolver is shrinking. But such a change to the capital structure is a fundamental change to the investment proposition, making Boo less attractive compared to sector peers.

Raising equity with a placing or rights issue could come with the results or shortly after. Potential for dilution/need to invest more should be kept in mind for those going long boo right now.
