Gadams, this is why AFC have sunk money in Hiiroc, probably becuase the customer feedback has been nice product but too expensive for us. The original business model relied on using free vented hydrogen, now they have shifted focus to EV charging their business model doesn't really work at the moment but should in a few years...

Technologically I think we are there, commercially it sounds like there is a lot of interest but the comment about forming long term relationships and signing NDAs suggests to me that a lot of engineering work is needed to tailor a solution so we could be a year away from a sale, sorry but just seen it too many times with AFC, the first sales are proving very challenging I’d say.

I agree for once with Haggis, AFC does need a proper re-rating, downwards. No income, ok the likes of Amazon took 10 years to make profit, constant fund raises, yes, needed for any new tech company, but constant change of direction and dire PR ? We’re only doing power plants, no wait, we’re now doing off grid EV charging, no wait, it’s now on grid in conjunction with battery and solar, we’re only doing stationary, no wait, we’re going to do trains, we’ll start with a 20kw system, no wait, I meant 160kw

therefore if AFC are classing system deployment as having their technology deployed in various product offerings then the system deployment comment is meaningless, yet another AFC classic play with words, end of the day just get some customers and sell something ffs.

There’s always one, with AFC you have to have had your parents buy AFC shares for you as a young child and cash them in on your deathbed, if you complain during that time about the share price you get called out for being impatient or a trader

There’s also a big gap in installed gW, 20gW by end of 2020,we haven’t even installed 20mW yet.

AFC have a huge number of sales leads, but will be focussing on getting the easiest (say one small charger for a small fleet, where it only needs MD sign off) signed off ASAP, to get the workload down.

This is important not only for base fuel commodity costs, but also in transportation and logistics costs which, in off grid or transportation applications, will drive to a large degree the underlying levelised cost of power from the fuel cell system.

AFC have already stated the system is not cost effective running on Hydrogen. Cost is everything.
