Securing the resource for the future would have been accomplished then. Maybe Kemet lost confidence in him, then GC pounced thinking he'd pulled a flanker? UU SVT PNN are all at highs, so something industry related behind the sentiment at the moment. Could just be people moving to defensive stocks. Could argue PNN rumoured sale of Viridor is proping that SP up, but SVT already shifted their waste arm years back, dont know about UU, so i dont think thats it either. Im just going to keep a watch over the day and see where it goes, couple of dips and pick ups already today, im seeing upwards trend still at the mo - but who knows really, certainly not me.

No idea on the science side of things, not my bag really, but do think its interesting that the US recognise these sorts of minerals as rocking horse droppings, so id have thought they would be doing more to secure supplies rather than just list them as critical. Peanuts for either the US itself, or a big US firm to just buy kzg outright from its tea fund? Why, if so rare, do they leave it to the likes of GC etc to merely play about with, doesnt seem logical to me.

Sounds like a few troubles with this jinx of a plane. I had a car years back that conked out on me in the middle of the night doing 90 on the M6 in the outside lane, it just cutout and i had to roll through traffic to get to the hard shoulder. Scared the sugar out of me.
That was bits of rust in the fuel lines, but at least i COULD roll to a halt and get out, not doing that in an aircraft

lots of coastline down here needed massive investment around the millenium to clean the bathing waters, so the sewerage rates here alledgedly "maintaining" those many many plants costs big money. My bill in my place with the three of us was closer to £1000 before i installed my rwh system, its around a third that now.

its the standing charges that never do though billy. When pricing for each amp period the companies 'balance' one charge off against the other and put them togeather in what they call a "tariff basket", and they only indicate the charge they've lowered. Apparantly the average bill in Pennon is something like £400 (countries dearest) but i bet nobody in Cornwall pays that little (except Sage and me) given the sewerage element of the tariff basket down here.
Industry is so lax at capturing the revenue it is due. Found a single site once down here that was dodging £30k a MONTH in sewerage charges by using a borehole (sewerage returns not known then). Referred it upwards to one layer below director level with a nice writtn report and was told "im not interested in recovering costs DT". I kid you not. would have taken me 5 mins to fit a meter and captured that revenue for ever. Stupid people Make me cross.
