Derek is totally right, in that such a huge increase will cause people to evaluate the service offered and likely reduce letter volumes further, and that negates the monies earned, whilst still having to keep the 6 day service and associated costs.
A cynic may say that that is the intention given that more monies are (according to most on here) made from parcels. I shall certainly be reducing my postings, and if everybody did that posties rounds will be getting bigger cos there will be less need for so many of you as you will be carrying half empty bags. Every business loves a headcount reduction, its always the first cost cut.

And yes, if there was an equivalent door to door service for general public i would be tempted to give it a go, monopolies are never efficent.

dont see any reduction in flights in Europe etc due to population lockdowns or anything for any of the airlines. Next set of figures showing yet more growth will be released shortly im sure.

she holds 4543 shares there for a total investment of £83709. bought since 2016. Current average of £18.30ea, so sitting on a CG of £4000 even at todays ****ty price. (would be over £21k CG at £24 share as recently)
Since 2016 has also received divis worth £22950 in total.
Not going to be getting that from the TSB or Barclays :)

those divis do compound up to be a decent pile of cash over the years, thats one advantage of being a LTH and investing rather than trading. Might add up the divis recd in the mrs ISA pot for her rdsb later, just for interest to see what shes had back, to complicated to do it for our total holding as they are spread about.
