good points gents and very valid. The difference i see, and i have no first hand knowledge at all, is that the chinese all seem to pull togeather, presumably under threat from their leaders, a bit like worker bees, and so are very productive. Whereas we in the west can never agree on a longer term strategy and cant organise a pi55 up in a brewery, the chinese always get things done, cheaply but done. Hospitals in a week, huge infrastructure projects, modernised industry from nowhere etc, while us in the divided West just talk and put obsticles in the way all the time. I cant see them changing their ways anymore than i can us realy.
No doubt the trade battles and now this virus have kicked the sugar out of them, but life is cheaper there and i recon id put my money on them recovering quicker as they wont worry about the people side of things. Going to be interesting for sure.

am doing the same, ditched my Uu for just under £10 backend of last week, sitting on the cash for a bit as i cant see the bottom yet, might even buy em back.
And Billy your definately right, this has all been blown right out of proportion. I mean i can imagine 'luxury' can do without it stocks going down (airlines, retail, cars etc) and maybe industrial (miners, oils, chemicals etc) but essentials like water? if anything they should be going up as life neccesities - especially if we're all washing our hands every 20 mins.

my wifes mothers brother flew home yesterday from the hotel next to the affected one in Tenerife, somebody fell ill on their flight back to the UK. The plane was met by paramedics and the ill person took away while the rest of the passengers were detained for a short time. All eventually released and allowed to go with home, with no specific virus tests!
Got no more details than that at the moment - we were at a Milton Jones gig so could only communicate by text on the qt.

oh, i forgot ncyt test kits are 90mins results and non chilled transport. dont want to miss any details out, appears other tests dont have those advantages either.

George, i also note that there are several kits/methods to test on the market, the only advantage ncyt has its CE approved. I have to check products for CE approval to use in my work to prevent bacterial growth and its really not that big a deal, there are several testing houses around the world, theres one in the far east. I am confused as to why the fda are taking so long in approving the suggested kit? Now if there was vaccine for this virus then the share price would be shooting up (no pun) but for now a test kit appears to be a test kit and the advantage of getting the first approved one to market just isnt being realised, all imho of course.
