Thanks for that. What struck me was the apparent number of service providers in the market - surely far too many for the demand to sustain..? Therefore in the next couple of years a significant degree of rationalisation will occur and many small developers could fail. I can also see a lot of pragmatic acquisitions and mergers happening in that same period. Let's hope VIP is one of the winners, or is at least bought up for a tidy sum.

Not quite the immediate lift off in the SPI anticipated, given the relative size of the contract. Considering how some SPs rocket on significant contract wins this is quite disappointing.

Well, that's a turn up following our comments yesterday. I asked for a transformative year and it looks like it will be exactly that. As you say, My Guess, it should bring in plenty of interest...

It seems the results don't impress the market, though. Personally, I have mixed feelings about the contents. The increase in income is impressive, but with the hefty impairment costs to cover the reorganisation, the current year really has to be transformative, I'd suggest. Vipera is a very small company in a tough area of business, but somehow they need to widen their customer base for their core products significantly and get a real head of steam going - and hopefully turn a profit! Easier said than done.

The last little acquisition was mine, using a divi payment from another share. I first bought in on spec last year when the sp was depressed - since when I've watched it go up nicely only to watch it come back down again, but not quite to where I started. It seems a shame given the company seems to be making steady progress, albeit without pulling up any trees along the way (not that I claim any real technical knowledge in this particular field). I have been surprised to see the sp struggle straight after what must be a positive announcement. Anyway, here's hoping...
