Ouch! Sorry to hear that, about as bad as I did on CHP by the sound of it. If they do release the anual report on Friday then that might have some impact, but otherwise this share does looke like it will be a long haul to a decent valuation. Part of the problem for those of us that take short term punts I guess, but I saw the light on LNG a while back and plan to be here for some time. Red day for me today too, but not much in it by the close with a good day in TAN and a 1/4p recovery in LNG. Scary to be affected by such a small change in one share :-O

Ah, no we have crossed wires here. The link was to the corporate synergy opinion published on the 22nd March, where they stated that they wouldn't upgrade their profit forecasts until the interims. The date of the next annual report I pulled off proquote, the calendar dates are shown as follows (edited): Expected Next Interim Results: 25 September 2007 Expected Next Year End: 31 December 2006 Preliminary Announcement Date: 22 March 2007 Expected Next AR: 27 April 2007 Expected Next AGM: 22 June 2007 Of course these dates are sometimes incorrect, but if this one happens to be accurate then we might see some movement Friday. Couple of nice buys of 55K+ shares at 17.75p this afternoon. 20p by Friday then. Oh, wait a minute, that was last weeks dream...

Not quite make or break time, but tomorrow should at least provide some indication of whether SKP has finally turned the corner. Forecasts are for a £50m loss on £51m turnover (yikes!) but with a much improved scenario for the coming year. The sales of the injectibles unit did have a positive effect pushing the SP up to 28p, but it has since fallen back to around the 23p level. I think if the results are poor I'll probably take the loss now and find some other home for my meagre investment. Anyone with more money than sense might want to buy on the chance of a turnaround, but I don't see investors queueing round the corner for this opportunity :)

I thought these looked good value last week, they surged on contract news then fell back on profit taking. The sell off has continued and we're now back to the level we were at before the contract. I find that surprising as ASM will receive a significant amount of cash from the deal, but I wonder if they have further to fall yet. I think at the current SP they must represent very good value and thought I might buy later today. However the Level 2 data is putting me off a little at present, buy vol 121K, sell vol 730K and 1-4 at 52.75-53p.

Yes, I read it and found it very encouraging. It more or less says that everything is fine and the Govenor of Tomsk stated how pleased he was with IEC. I expected a better performance from the shares on the release of this news and there was a rise back up to £12.80 or so but the SP dropped off a bit towards the end of the day. I think holder and punters are both looking for a comment on the move to a full listing, if this does go through on Monday (and no release from the company either way yet) then we should see things back to normal pretty quickly, with the SP heading back over £14 and perhaps on to new highs. Still a bit speculative, but looking a lot better than it was late last week.

Am I the only one on the board still risking my hard earned on this company? I bought back in twice, once yesterdy (too early) and again today (just about right). I still haven't been able to find out if they've delayed the move to the full market, anyone shed any light on this? I am sure that if it does go ahead it will have a positive impact on the shares, but at the moment I think they still remain highly speculative.

You're not wrong moneyman, a nice row of 10 buys have brought the price back up to 17.5-18p this afternoon. Perhaps we've finally seen a bottom support level.

I wish lol, Down 0.5p again on LNG on a few measly sells. This is a frustrating share to be holding at present, for sure.

I've just been catching up with TRX and that report in the Financial Times looks quite promising for existing holders. My feeling from a couple of months ago was that they'd relist at around 20p, it now seems likely that an offer for the whole company may be tabled at the same time. This would be a market makers dream, no need to slash the price when the sellers head for the exit (and plenty of holders will want to bail at the first opportunity no doubt) and can mop up all of the share going with a guaranteed selling price, making a mint on the spread in the process. I think it is unlikely that an offer of 75p would be tabled considering the difficulties that the companies has been going through, but anything at 41.5p or above will no doubt be welcomed by shareholders.

I'm sure most if not all of us in this share agree that it is undervalued. A fairer price given the prospects would be at least double what we have now. Unfortunately it's a minnow though, so the low turnover in shares following the rise after the results looks like it is preventing any kind of breakout. If you take a look at the Corporate Synergy report, they say that despite the strong performance they do not plan to upgrade their forecasts until the interims. Since these are due in September we have a long wait before that will have any effect. However, the Annual Report is due Friday, which might be an opportunity for the company to provide a further trading update, and the AGM is in June. I have both a long term holding and a short term T trade on LNG at present, I'll review the T trade after the report. What I'd really like to see is the company announce that it is in formal takeover talks, but as this looks unlikely they remain a firm medium term hold I think.

Tried to buy in on a T20 at 12.29 but the share price jumped and the system won't give me a firm quote. Still thinking about it, but it looks like I'll be paying a higher price if I get back in now. A couple of buyers at 11.99 are doing good already, now 12.32-12.40.

I thought IEC might rise strongly today as it does look like all the furore has died down, but they have been dropping in early trade on fairly consistant selling. Having bailed at 12.46 on Friday I thought I'd left a little early but if they continue to drop there may be another buying opportunity again today. No new RNS out, so presumably the transfer to the main market is still on course for the next week or so. Probably well worth another punt if we drop below £12 I would think.

Things still looking down at CHP. I took a hefty loss selling at 7p a couple of weeks ago. SP lower still now, but not tempting me back in just yet. LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Chaco Resources PLC said it will plug and abandon the Sayona-1 well in Colombia's Llanos basin as it did not find commercial quantities of hydrocarbons there during drilling. The lack of commercial hydrocarbons could be due to an insufficient source charge or hydrodynamic flushing of the reservoirs by formation water, the company said in a drilling report. Chaco Resources had a 55 pct interest in the well.

I had a dream Friday night, my mind was obviously on the events of the day, particularly with IEC. I sometimes find that if I go to sleep thinking of something then I dream about it. Anyway, in the dream it was Monday morning and for some reason LNG was at 20p on the bid, some news was out but I couldn't see what it was on my screen before I woke up. Absolutely NOT a valid reason for anyone to invest in LNG. But if we hit 20p on Monday I'll be thinking of other shares when I go to sleep that evening ;) Good luck for the coming week everyone.

I think we've been used to LNG dropping off slowly, so what a pleasant surprise to see the bid up this afternoon, 18.0-18.25p.

Quite nerve wracking to have a trade like this open over a weekend I think, have lots planned to didn't want to be distracted. My sale went through at £12.46 so can finish off the week a happy bunny. I think IEC are just as likely to hit £13.00 as £11.00 fairly soon, but as the lady on working lunch said today, "no one ever went broke by taking profits". Congrats to all that risked their shirts here. I'm sure Alfa will be smiling next week if the price holds or continues to rise.

Not to be too greedy, I put a sell order in on my remaining holding at 12.35, within a gnats whisker of going through I think...
