Bounce of 1130p, back up above 1150p now. Need a crystal ball on this one... A number of automated buys kicking in and level 2 now showing more buys than sells waiting...

Although in at 101p already they do seem too cheap to me so have bought an additional T20 at 96.75p this afternoon. Not too many shares this time but average now below a pound.

I'd advise staying out. The bounce could be swift when it comes, but the share price has been dropping for days, despite buys well exceeding sells. I think we could still see sub £11 but with TAN and LNG doing so well today I'm not tempted to sell anything for a longer term buy here just yet. And with the share price still falling an account punt could be costly. 11.30-11.35p. Watching like a hawk.

A broker has provided an Italian gaming sector review and this looks like good news for LNG. http://www.lngplc.com/Arbuthnott-Research-May-2007.pdf See page 58. LNG issued as a Strong Buy with a target of 67p. This is based on a 10X multiple of 2008 earnings. They also state that 'Expansion of product, franchisee control, internet operations and new geographies could lead to significant upgrades.' SP rising as the buys come in, now up to 19-19.5p, volume still light.

Lots more selling of RCG, low SP may present a cheap get in... 95-97p now. (VIY will tempt me if it can hold on to 13-14p)

Ah, no longer it seems. Despite the last 5 trades being buys we now have consistancy, the SP is 18-19p with L2 showing 5-5.

Morning Rickster. Well your TAN shares are certainly doing well today on the back of a broker upgrade, and even LNG have recovered, Don't know what's going on with RCG though, this issue over the will seems to be dragging along, but I think that they are good for a medium term recovery. I'm keeping a close eye on IEC, if it makes it as a FTSE 250 stock then it should see a lot of buying for tracker funds. I'm also contemplating punts on VIY and JSP (again), can't decide if the delay to Jessops results is good or bad news. See Jessops thread...

Odd pricing in LNG now, 3 brokers at 17.75-18.75p, one at 18-19p and WINS at 18.5-19.5p

1158-165p now, perhaps bottomed out. Was wondering if they might drop to sub £11. Odd day for IEC, much more buying than selling yet the price has been steadily falling. Despite the possibility of missing out on a chunk of any potential rise, still watching.

1160p and still falling, I'd have to say stay out for now. I think when they bottom out they'll bounce very quickly, but still no sign of that happening at the moment, and they could have further to fall. Doesn't make any sense to me but if they start to rise I'll will be ready to jump aboard.

Starting to rise this morning on consistant buying, 118K buys against just 7K sells and the share price up to 103.5-104p. Anyone in around the pound mark looks to have made a good decision, so far today at least. 110p by close today and moving ahead from there would be nice :)

A report in the Times suggests companies newly promoted to the FTSE 250 will have up to 20% of their shares bought by tracker funds. The FTSE constituents are reviewed in June, it must be about time to get back into IEC. "Dealers have been keeping an eye on Plaza Centers, a £590 million-valued Eastern European property developer that is thought to have been excluded from the FTSE 250 index because of restrictions on companies registered in Guernsey - a rule that has now been tweaked. Shares fell 3p to 202 1/2p, but if Plaza makes the cut in next months FTSE review, tracker funds could be forced to buy about a fifth of the tightly held stock."

Might be worth while Jonty, a late RNS today (at 17:45) may be enough to get them moving next week: Imperial Energy, together with other resources companies operating in Russia, today met with representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources and DeGolyer and MacNaughton. During the meeting the Ministry of Natural Resources raised the differences between international standards of reporting reserves and the current Russian system. DeGolyer and MacNaughton reconfirmed their reserves calculations of Imperial Energy as recently published and included in DeGolyer and MacNaughton's Competent Persons Report as found within the company's prospectus published this month. The Ministry also stated that Russia intends to move to international standards of reserve reporting starting from 2009. Imperial Energy has been requested to, and agreed to, cooperate with the Ministry in this matter.

You're not wrong there, 10K buys, 8.6m sells!

A few of us entered at around the 99-101p level I think. We believe they are underpriced but the shares have been subdued since one of the primary share holders (with 27.6%) died leaving a question mark over her stake. She'd supposedly left it to a 'charitable organisation' (the Times said 'fortune teller') but this is being challenged by Tony Chan (whose family own 26.7%). I think that most of us suspect that once these problems are sorted the shares will romp ahead, a recent placing at 131p raised cash for joint venture, mergers and aquisitions and put the group 'in a strong financial position'. The SP hasn't dropped sufficiently for me to buy more (in at 101p) but I'd still rate them as a buy.

Carry on up the chart... number 9 in todays top risers. No news release so perhaps a rumour or maybe just buying ahead of the prelims. I have a vague recollection of hearing that there would be an update issued at the prelims (17th May) regarding progress. Could be they are due to announce a joint venture in which case 60p should be left well behind. I am, at heart, an optimist.

7 small buys and FEP are in the top 30 risers today in at 21 with a 4.63% rise. It just goes to show that with a share this thinly traded and waiting on news just a small amount of trade can get it moving. Consigned to the 'leave it and walk away' draw many moons ago, I think I have a long wait yet before making money on this company.

Hey money, The forecast figures from ProQuote are for an EPS of 11.6p for 2006 (from Arden Partners who rate them as a buy). Expected to turnover £9m this year rising to £60m next. As I see it the future is already priced in but it's all down to how well alternative fuels are adopted. My research previously suggested that the GTL share price has been partly driven by legislation, the expectation that we'll have to "go green" to some extent over the coming years. The 11.6p EPS for 2008 puts them on a forward P/E of 14 which would be good value given the potential. However, to temp me we'd have to be seeing good sales and be a little closer to profitability.

For "contractual amounts", do they mean directors salaries? ;) The figures mean a placing at an average of 0.358p, which is just below the SP before suspension. It will be interesting to see the outcome of the deal, if it goes ahead they'll surely open significantly higher.
