Almost as many trades already today as we had in LNG on Friday. Definitely strong interest in the gaming sector this morning, 22 trades so far in LNG and 3/4 of them buys. SP now 19.25-19.5p and we're 7th in the top 30 risers, up 13%. It would be great to see a share price back above 20p, which is quite possible if the buyers are back. Should have topped up at 17.5p, but overweight (for me) already.

LNG moving ahead this morning, not 18.5-19.0p, no RNS out so I wonder if this rise is on the back of good results from 888. Might have an impact on other gaming stocks too if so, I see PRTY has notched up a tad as well.

The Times agrees with you Sparky, although I not quite sure about the last bit, I thought she'd bequeathed it to a couple of charities. Deal of the day RC Group rose 5 1/2p to 112 1/4p after its chairman bought 100,000 shares at 111.45p each. Raymond Chu's purchase comes amid a legal battle over RC's ownership, after Nina Wang bequeathed her 26.7 per cent stake in the security products group to her fortune teller.

Personally I have 80% of mine (and my wifes) investments in property and just 20% in the stock market, so the 20% tends to be in shares with a bit more potential, I have no FTSE stocks at present and only occassionally dabble in them. But I really have to say with that kind of sum you ought to be seeking out professional financial advice rather than asking here.

I know what you mean, thought about it for a while so went in a bit lighter. Shame though as it's gone back above £13 in swift order, could have been a blinding hour trade :) On a T10 so will hang on into next week to see if there's news on this move from AIM.

LNG just tieked back up to 17017.5p as a 664K delayed trade at 17p went through. I assume that this was a buy from earlier. Chance of a blue day on LNG then or still a bit early to sayu...

Out of ACE and back into IEC today at £12.79. Done well with IEC so far to the profits should cover all but the worst of share price crashes, and I'm still hopeful for the switch to the main market and a good rise in the SP which should accompany such.

It's a plan, but it only takes a little renewed interest and we'll be off. Four buys over a few minutes and we're now at 17.0-17.25p. Interesting that only the bid has come up, the offer price has stayed at 17.25p most of the morning. Only WINS offering 17p and only ALTI selling at 17.25p at present.

More selling and down another quarter penny, 16.5-17.25p. This is a sign of an illiquid share where very little buying or selling can affect the share price. Further sells at 16.5p now too which could signal a further drop shortly.

After they went up like a rocket, and then fell back on profit taking and lack of interest, SMC bottomed out at 73p on Wednesday. Since then we've had a decent level of buying pulling the shares up, and despite a few sells the market makers haven't dropped the price but let it rise to 83p today. Mostly buys again this morning, we're now at 82-84p on 30K buys and 1K sells. A welcome turn around for SMC which after the decent results and the contract win announcement really should be back above a pound.

Know what you mean, the sector took a pounding today, I was watching PRTY drop and tempted to buy in later on, but have too many open positions as usual (even after closing two on IEC and one on TAN today, plus one on JSP yesterday). I think LNG is worth double the SP at least at the moment, and I can't say that for TAN. I do believe TAN will treble in the coming year or two, but LNG is by far the more frustrating share as although TAN is well up with (many would say ahead of) events, LNG appears to be stupidly undervalued. Anyway, just a quick perusal tonight after a good training session, looking for a positive opening tomorrow in both LNG and TAN to give up a second blue day after a poor start to the week. :)

Another big kick in the goolies this afternoon from LNG. And I was having such a good day with nearly all blues before this annoying share decides to shed 1p in the last hour or so. Bugger.

I guess it goes to show up the inconsistency of the screens, as I'm seeing 743K buys against 1.3m sells and 174K unidentified. Level 2 is 3-3 but 232K buys against 853K sells so downward pressure remaining.

Have decided to exit IEC at £13.75. Another good return of just over 8% after costs, and although I'm sure that they have more progress in them the shares are nerve wracking in their volatility. I have a good strong heart I think, but not for much longer if I keep punting on these :) Good luck Madjock, I'm sure you'll be hitting new highs soon.

Have been watching these following your comments, up early on and now down. It seems odd that a share should drop so because of shares changing hands following the death of a majore shareholder, I presume that the worry is the new owner might want to sell the shares and spend the money on a good time :) A good long term buy then?

IEC just back over £13.00 a minute or so back. I can't help thinking this might be the start of a run ahead of the switch to the full market listing, which was (is?) due by the end of April. Now at 1300-1310p.

Personally I'm not convinced it will happen particularly quickly if it comes, the US are about as protectionist as they can get away with. None the less, LNG remains a good value stock, if you have the patience, whatever the outcome across the pond.

More pixels out on my screen this morning, either that or SMC really is rising on some buying...

I think the reason is clear, the US is looking very much like it going to repeal the laws governing on line gambling. Partygaming more easily get back into the US than LNG, which sold its US operations for a dollar I believe. I'm sure it the law is reversed then this will have a very positive effect on LNG ultimately though. Anyone with other thoughts?
