Agree completely with you BluePete, only thing i can not under stand is why not another referendum and if vote is still leave then fair enough but not to allow another vote when its now clear that leaving is a complete shambles as you say is Madness, in my opinion its also financial suicide.

Have to agree with you humdrum that there are safer places to put your money (banks building, society,housing even under a mattress).
But for investment Bt may yet prove to be a winner (fingers and toes crossed) good luck to you and no offence but i really hope to have a laugh even if it is at your expense in the next year or three , never know i may even break even if BT go up about %60.

Can not say i am sorry to see GP say good buy but is he the only muppet in the board room share price will tell but i have a feeling that silly as he may have been not all of BTs woes are his fault.

But in what direction? Only way this share has been bouncing is downhill, any one with even 10,000 shares has been losing apox �1000 every month for the last few years.

You can be sure that news on the 10th will be same as usual lots of words and nothing of any importance unless theres a change in the BODs or a take over bid next year these shares are not going any where, unless they start there down ward spin again.

Be lucky if its �2.50 by christmas.

If only anyone knew the answer to that they could make a fortune, would be a lot better than keeping losing money with BT. All i could say is BT seem a lot better now than they have been, but like all shares they are a gamble and if i had any spare funds i would put them into BT, i would not advise anyone to invest in them for the simple reason every time myself and any one on CC has thought or said BT had stopped there free fall BT would sink to another low so do your own research and remember shares are a gamble.

Perhaps you could do a better job and with your skill and inside knowledge of BT have a much more contended work force better SP and get rid of some of the dead wood managers and silly red tape. But for me i know i have held onto BT shares all the way down from �5 so if i could not get that right (think bailing out/selling out) then chances are i would get a few other things wrong, City agree with you as SP shows but who knows what is in store tomorrow or next year perhaps BOD may yet get there act right after all even a broken clock is right twice a day.

LOL Rod, If there had been none of the older engineers there would be no BT and Goldie locks would not be no �5.4 million a year. BT survived before GP and may well go on for better or worse if he left but without good engineers BT would go down even further that it is at present.

Unless i am mistaken pensions have already been given there increase from first of the month? But you are correct that it may only show in there accounts at the end of the month?
