Blues brothers you are %100 correct BT should not be sold off but its the uk government they have already sold of lots of uk silverware(UK businesses) and even gold reserves so why not BT and any security along with it?

BB2021, Can not say i am shocked when you say Labour say's that its a benefit NOT an entitlement ( state pension) as know of a case where a carer looking after a disabled son 24/7 had there benefit stopped as soon as they started to recieve there pension. Disgraceful then they are taxed on full amount of pension as they have a privite pension.

LOL just hope the age is not increased again, but interesting to check as you can see when you should receive state pension, amount and even see all years paid and if any thing was missed, just a mater of filling in your details online and having a 16 digit gateway code (dont lose it) then sign into government website. Quilifying years are not the same for everyone. TBH pity help anyone that has a state pension even a full pension and that is there only income uk state pension must be one of the worst?

Fleccy, am sure you know this already but do check your contributions tbh easy online and waste of time ringing, many rules have changed, make sure you have enough years paid, you can pay missed years up to 6 years ago, some have found that they only need to pay a very small amount if they have worked say 51 weeks in one year, but main take is dont take it for granted all is paid up?

Also be surprised if any one not working for BT would not like a bit as bid or bids may be great for our investments.

My issue with BT management BOD is the inability to sort same issues year after year, must be some great middle management as the logistics with fiber roll out enormous and this is going great.

Lets hope if there is no bid BT SP does great but that may be wishful thinking? (only my view)

Hi Prat AP, If the joke offends then you have my apologies , but it was not Rod who posted the joke it was me, so please dont go accusing Rod or using it as an excuse to attack him.
