Like many on here am a long term BT share holder and have noticed apart from 2 years, every time before dividend many counting the days before the dividend payout?

Why? What difference does it make? Its only a figure in the number of shares held if reinvested or if spent just part of income? Can understand if someone is perhaps considering selling or reinvesting as share price dips a bit, Do not believe theres any on here like scrouge liveing just to delight in there wealth or visa versa like his employee Bob Cratchit?

Sir Aus, Take everything posted on here with a pinch of salt, all of the insults accusations and outragious comments are just a way of getting attention. If any poster did not want to read anyones posts they would not read them and if someone really wanted to block anyone they would not keep reading there posts and commenting about them.

These guys do not adhere to queensbury rules so do not expect reason from the unreasonable. No one really knows anyone and all are really not against anyone but just out for themselves.

My old antagonist pratkatzout posting again under a new name and again baying for attentsion, funny but i actually take his new posts as a sort of reverse backhanded complement. Wonder did you keep the Z as a sort of malicious Zorro?

Roll on a bid or better a bidding war, Openreach sell off and the swift spending of dividends, brilliant posts Rod really informative and fun, the karckens tenticals where all over the sea.

Never fear dividend is near and normal in house fighting will resume.

Bravo fleccy a very interesting and informative post, just my view and no offence meant to anyone but great to read posts like this with no malice, ill intent or silly arguments over nonsence, post like this should be the norm instead of insults.

Very true Rod but saldy many fall into the old trap, where their wealth is their standard of life minus their negative beliefs and actions.

Have read so many times bragging about discounted shares, dividend, profit and investments and yet same posters are showing how empty and poor they really are by there belligerent posts.

Bt Shares now almost doubled in value in 18 months, long may it continue. Whatever price and when everyone bought in is history and cannot be changed the real important issue for all should be keep, sell or increase holding and what if share price rises or falls still invest, buy more or sell and at what price?

BT engineer was in a local shop and seen a work friend slip some bars of chocolate into his pocket without paying.

When outside the engineer asked his friend about his actions, the friend said it feels great like magic and gives me a real high and i feel great after.

The engineer said i will show you better magic that will really give an unforgetable high, lets go back into the shop and i will do it.

Engineer in the shop again, both smillinng and very happy, engineer said to the shop owner bar of chocolate please and i will show you magic?

The owner handed over chocolate and the engineer just put it in his mouth it then asked for another and again put another chocolate in his mouth?

Shop owner said whats magic about that? Engineer said look in my friends pocket?

My suggestion for a new name for openreach should it be sold of is culling services, as first objective may be to rid themselves of any employees that disgrace the majority of loyal and hardworking engineers and there company by posting insults and foul acutautions on a BT discussion site?

Funny thing is many of the soon to be ex engineers may end up working as contractors, perhaps the narative that all contractors only have a few months training and only fit for installs may change?

Mr Mittal may be like a king of old on a holy quest cutting through die hards that will not and maybe can not evolve with changeing times, short video to show how progress goes on even against stubborn refuseal to accept change.

Shares are a gamble as much as an investment and theres another war in the Middle East, the USA is now involved.

Iran is threatening to block routes for oil and gas, there may be market panic not saying there will be but as i always say shares are a gamble, BT shares have done very well this last 18 months long may this continue, do your own reserch and only invest what you are prepaired to gamble.

Very good point Rod and know you neither accept bullying and stand up to them, perhaps a combined approach of not replying to there posts and reporting to BT? Not sure if the CWU would take any action as there purpose is to protect there members but again if the CWU though BT willing to take action they might issue a statement condemning trolling to avoid bad press?

There is an old saying evil thrives when good stand by and do nothing, think it would be great if many good posters would just post the word not acceptable in reply to posts that contain trolling?

Have also read, There’s a phenomenon in dogs where they will bark and show teeth with a fence between them. Open the gate and they become wimps.

Block, ignore and most importantly do not reply to accusations and insults if seen. These posters are just posting about there nature, they do not know they targets or anything about them and are only selling integrity for attention with no care who they hurt. Best way to think about them they are sad people hiding behind a made up name and an ip address, i do not read children's comics more so if they where full of vile so why not block posts containing similar?

Trails are underway to replace BTs engineering en masse, I enclude a short video of the trails, make your own mind up as to how well and far this is proceeding. Have checked the sorce of the report and it was written by a very well known and respected Ex engineer and self proclaimed crocodile who is currently residing in sheltered accommodation called secure psychiatric hospital.
