It sounds to me as though they want to test out the two technologies side by side before they choose which to use on their future biorefineries.

"Good piece of news but someone mentioned 10 more projects yet to be announced." Red Rock has suggested that they plan 10 more sites. Nothing is likely to happen though until the first plant is built and the performance has been assessed. So none are likely to get the go-ahead for a couple of years at least I would think. Also, the first plant has huge grants and loan guarantees. They are likely to be less generous for subsequent plants but if the first performs well then the economics of follow-on ones are easier to predict. Envia also has talked about other plants once the first has proven itself, so getting details of how well that is doing will be an important event. Similarly in the UK, multiple plants will be needed to make a really significant reduction in BA's fossil fuel use. It all will get easier if we hear that Envia is working well and if Red Rock is built on time and also does well. But we won't know for quite some time!

"We are due to be making revenue. This revenue is guaranteed." The revenue is guaranteed to Envia Energy and not to VLS. VLS are shareholders in Envia and also provided them with a loan... hopefully at a good rate of interest!

"Do you think we will have am rns to confirm this order." I doubt it; Red Rock have just got the go-ahead they will no doubt place an order in due course after some negotiaitons.VLS have long been listed as a partner but the details will have to be agreed I expect.

For anyone not familiar with Red Rock Biofuels; they intend to use Velocys FT reactors for this plant and this order will be the first from an independent third-party I believe.

�Red Rock Biofuels LLC is pleased to announce that after many years of development, we are commencing construction on our planned biorefinery in Lakeview,� said Jeff Manternach, Chief Financial Officer for Red Rock. �We appreciate the support from all of our project partners and are planning a ground breaking ceremony for later this summer.� Construction is estimated to take 18 months, with operations planned to start in 2020. Initial estimates had the facility opening by 2016, but negotiations and the permitting process hit several snags. Once operational, the facility will intake woody biomass and ag waste, compiled from forest bi-products gathered from thinning projects to reduce fire fuels.
