If you would like to ask our webinar guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund a question please submit them here.
portswigger: VLS have had a demonstration plant for years that has thousands of hours of operation. Vls reactors were also successfully used in the Envia plant which was a larger-scale demonstrator. Before the AltAlto plant is built the Red Rock plant in Oregon and the Toyo demonstrator should be in operation.
XPB's point was presumably that none of these plants uses gas produced from municipal waste in the manner proposed for AltAlto. He says that is a big risk as it suits his current line of negativity; other people with experience in these matters have suggested that it isn't such a big deal.
I haven't looked for a while but there is new content I haven't seen before; e.g. seven sectors they suggest they are targeting:
Mobility
Construction
Mining
Industrial
Data Centres
OEM
Electrochemical
Hopefully, they are working hard to penetrate all of them!
Microsoft has not only been looking at using fuel cells for backup but also for standard power in off-grid data centres; see

This used natural gas rather than hydrogen.
roleybirkin: HL have added the new shares to my existing holding and will allow sells
I seem to have been scaled back to 20% of the number I requested in the placing; is that what other people are seeing?
Freedom4Uall: you haven't got 20000; they haven't had the meeting yet.
What you see is just a placeholder in your nominee account.

"Sick of saying it and hearing it Athansius."
Well stop then!
Why would Tesla be interested?
Are you on a different planet Garonne?
"There's never a sustained rise with AFC. Never! "
You say this about a share that was 5p last November and had been around that level for a year! It is now 500% higher!!
"I'm starting to get a bad feeling about all the hype and absolutely no action!"
You and others here are constantly complaining that the company is not hyping the share price; you can't have it both ways.
A few days without any news and you start wetting yourself; just try to chill!
I did get some in the end. Luckily they responded quickly to my email and fixed the issue with the verification process.
The price will be determined later but we get the same price as institutions.
I found them helpful and hopefully they will overcome any initial problems as such a service is needed!
I tried but the primary bid site is rubbish!
"CWR up 8.2% today."
banaman I'm not sure why you endlessly go on about CWR.
CWR investors have been waiting since 2004 for a return on their investment and the SP is still below what it was then. AFC investors have only been waiting since 2007 and the SP is higher than it was then!
Perhaps you should count your blessings !
I'm using Chrome to access this site and it appears to work fine for me.
"Ryse has submitted a planning application to build the UK’s biggest electrolyser at Herne Bay in Kent, capable of producing up to ten tonnes of hydrogen a day, enough to power 500 buses. If it is approved, the hydrogen will be sent to London to supply a new fleet of fuel cell buses.
Ryse is planning to build at least four more large electrolysers in Aberdeen, Northern Ireland, Runcorn and south Wales. Jo Bamford, chairman of Ryse and son of Lord Bamford, the billionaire owner of JCB diggers, also owns Wrightbus in Co Antrim, which is making the world’s first hydrogen-electric double-decker buses."

"Surplus power from wind farms will be used to run a network of giant electrolysers to make hydrogen for vehicles, under plans drawn up by a green energy company."
Has anyone told them about it?
Given that you agree that VLS and TRI have been testing biomass to liquid at TRI's Development Center using DoE funding have you seen any results for that published by either party? I certainly haven't, so it seems illogical to suggest that the absence of reported results means that something hasn't taken place!
VLS will be as keen to raise funding for Natchez as for the UK plant. It could be that confidentially is part of their agreement as TRI are supplying competitor projects; or maybe the tests are still ongoing.
