beachandsurf: " and a contingent supply of ammonia on board"
Are you sure that an ammonia cracker is available?
“ We know our ammonia cracker and fuel cells are heading to Saudia Arabia”
Can someone explain why an ammonia cracker is needed for Extreme E please? Surely they will use an electrolyser to create the hydrogen!
"Where would the solar panels fit to crack the ammonia?"
What ammonia?
Extreme E will use an electrolyser to generate the hydrogen directly.
expatbrat: "There arent many waste to fuel options available, so could be VLS? Or perhaps Fulcrum."
So more a potential customer than a new competitor?
Has WasteFuel announced what technology they will be using? From a quick look at their website they don't appear to know yet.
The world will need hundreds of plants producing SAF to make a real difference; there more there are validates the concept.
It is the uncrossing trade and you should probably research what that means before trying to deduce anything from it!
The 'massive miss' was when Quizzical compared the SP of AFC with that of oil majors yesterday to make a point. such a comparison is of course totally wrong!
He said
"The point is why would anyone wish to sell out at £10? Shell, BP and other fading energy stocks typically have sp's in the £25-35 range. However, they are clustered with a multitude of oil majors globally, all extracting a commodity, with similar technology skill-sets. AFC can and will be a H2 leader, with a unique and cheap technology, going worldwide. Imagine what Shell's sp would be if they had this unique advantage across continents. A £10 divestiture to such a player would be a little like having sold Google within its formative months to Amstrad! H2 is effectively limitless and clean, whereas fossil fuels are increasingly scarce and unpopular. As the yanks would say, "do the math"."

Haggis: "I was expecting more people investing in clean energy and the Hydrogen Economy to practice what they preach"
True believers in the hydrogen economy should be planning to switch to Hydrogen EVs as soon as it is practical rather than to conventional EVs with all the issues relating to manufacturing, mining, recycling etc.
there was an RNS first thing this morning

haggis: you can't blame Garonne for being stressed; there has been no good news at all for well over 24 hours now!
Laughton: your calculation doesn't allow for the lead-in time for components ordered from suppliers or for the effect of manufacturing/testing in batches etc.
Wouldn't Aggreko be another possible partner?
I think making short term predictions is pointless as it is entirely possible (if unlikely) that there will be issues at Extreme E, for example, that might cause a shart drop.
My only prediction would be that the chances of a strong rise over the rest of this year are quite high. I have no plans to sell any shares myself and don't believe in having fixed targets for selling as there are always other factors to consider.
I do manage investments on behalf of other family members which include AFC shares and I will possibly top-slice on their behalf at some point if their portfolios become too unbalanced or if a general sell-off in the sector appears likely.
If retraces call you a lot of stress just wait for the one that will occur when the SP does get over £1!
Just think how many other LTHs are planning to cash-in or top-slice when that happens.
Garonne: "Struggling to stay over 80p"
80p means there has been a 5.68% rise today! Most people would think that is an excellent performance. Do you think it is possible that you are a tad impatient and have been spoiled by the recent surges in the SP?
More like 30 years Haggis!

and surely you don't think he should issue a waffly RNS like you suggest when there is no significant news just to placate panicking PIs who are getting desperate as there has been no mind-blowing RNS for almost 3 weeks!
