Is because blockchain programming language is free, it's opensource. No one has to pay for it. IBM and Microsoft will host it online and develop a host of programming tools for people to use because, that's what they do, and they will get knock on revenues from other tools no doubt. Big boys like that aren't going to be playing with fiat to crypto mobile apps which will be given away free of charge or for a couple of quid on the android market.

Do you understand now how blockchain is not some 'exclusive holy Grail' and having 'your own platform' is a step backwards, when the biggest computer companies in the world are offering the platforms for the world, for people to build their own apps, with IBMs and Microsoft's wealth of technical support behind them to help you develop your own products? People who are already involved in coding end software. What experience do milestone or envoy have in that? Nothing. You and I have as much chance of developing blockchain app they do.

Tony, you still don't understand this tech do you. I'm not interested in what IBM are doing with blockchain themselves nor does it matter. They have a free platform accessible for any developers to build apps upon. Think of it as the same ah Google offering a free android developer platform for people to develop android apps on, or Microsoft having their free windows platform available. Until you have an understanding what blockchain is, a database, and what it can be used for, something as simple as a calculator app, to an accounting app, much like what we have already using others methods, then you'll continue to make the same mistakes. Blockchain is not bitcurrencies, bitcurrencies don't have to use blockchain. Blockchain is just a database, a means of storing data, and has it's advantages and drawbacks.

You're right about aim being full of scam or shell companies with empty promises. And here we have 3 failed companies, who have had nothing to do with blockchain previously, the American one declaring zero revenue since conception, the uk one only doing 22k last year, now saying they will be the leaders in blockchain, and it must be true because you wrote it on capitals. Not forgetting the us one in a filing only 3 weeks ago declaring it doesn't have enough funding to start it's actions, and doesn't know if it can continue. The source code is free! It's opensource, in fact it would be a bit underhand for any company to charge for it.

I find it amazing how people think 3 completely failed shell companies, all with debts and no apparent funding and no revenue stream, are joining forces to work on something they have no experience in, and are going to be the leaders in it. The mind boggles!

Not really a snap shot in time is it. 74 last year, 22 this year, bod have said they have failed at everything they did and the figures support it, big debts and failed placing, latest rns is full of vapourware and a contract that hasn't even been started, with a company with dubious origins in the us, also failing at everything it did in the part, lots of debt, no revenue......and guess what, they magically turn around and say they want to be on the blockchain bandwagon. Yes, from that I can see how you think no one has a clue about the future and can't make an informed decision.....excuse my sarcasm...
