Assuming we continue to rebound, the best hope I have is that this is a very painful lesson learned for those new to AIM investing and the games that MMs play all over the market. The motives and methods employed for two days straight now should show those who are novices, or just nervous at having bought in at SP highs (which I myself have done here) what to expect.

Do not set stop losses. Do not panic when the SP is walked down so deliberately for a high demand share.

Haven't there been a load of buy orders around 130-140p on the books at the auctions for the last couple of days? It's clear why the MMs want to bring the price down to this sort of level.

Is that 6.5m trade looking like a sell then?

A lot of buys coming in this morning. Anyone on L2 see how many shares the MMs have got left at these prices, can't be many? Should see a tick up soon.

Little top up myself, took a few goes to get a quote through as well, so despite the drop the MMs clearly dont want to give these shares away too easily.

Would like to see a gradual rise to pre Covid levels, there's no reason why we shouldn't be back at 20p and looking to push on from there. A rapid rerate and interest attracted from the MF article is likely to bring a fair few daytrippers.

RNSs do usually land at 7am or occasionally on the bell at 8am, but that of course only happens if the companies have the time to put together a release and plan when to put it out. Things are moving so quickly here that I wouldn't be surprised to see the odd RNS out of left field in the middle of the day.

MMs will look to clear out profit takers early in the day. Pressure will resume here and I can see us pushing £2 by lunchtime.

That is 100% a MM signal. Well below the average sell price, and just 100 shares traded. A trade of 100 means a MM is short of shares, so don't be surprised to see an attempted tree shake shortly, and if they fail then the SP will probably have to rise to coax out some more sellers.

Apologies if already shared. Great news to come out of this pandemic, seems like even the world's worst offenders could be moving to renewables quite rapidly. All the more reason to get Lemur off our books and focus on becoming a linchpin of the renewables industry.

Eskom is a basket case and BMN would do well to focus elsewhere. I'd hope that is what our involvement with Invinity (Redt/Avalon) and Enerox is all about.

Pdub, don't really think my post was directed at you in particular so don't understand the incredibly spiky response. You note that PR and shareholder communications were the only negatives in my post, and that you agree that these could be vastly improved, so where's the animosity if we are in agreement on that?

My reference to the "2p" club is to do the patronising and dismissive manner in which dissenting opinions of more recent shareholders are shot down by those who were lucky enough to buy in at prices well below the current SP. An attitude which you have done a fantastic job of proving in your post, congratulations.

My point remains that despite fantastic business management, shareholder communications at BMN are abysmal, and given that outright malice is an incredibly unlikely reason, that only leaves behind indifference to UK shareholders, or just complete incompetence on their part. The Bod must be held accountable on this, or they will simply carry on in the way they have done to date, and our SP will never appreciate to the value it ought to be.

Apple102, I have to agree with nearly everything you have written. I've been here a similar time (2 years) and am averaging about 20p. While there's no doubting that our BoD are more than capable and are doing a great job, they are either missing the point of a publicly listed company and the need to keep their investors better informed, or worse they simply do not care about us. There has been plenty of talk about a JSE listing, letting African investors take a share of the success, and of course FM is not aversed to cosying up to the leadership of the ANC, yet not once have I seen a public message or news release that talks about their existing investors and wanting to take care of them. There are enough ardent cheerleaders for the management of the company (you know the ones, they've been here since the "dark days of 2p" etc) that there is no chance of any serious dissent threatening their position so they presumably are pretty comfortable and can do as they wish without fear of getting the boot.

Someone has been filling their boots today. All those large trades at 0.085 or thereabouts look like buys to me.

Let's keep this on the subject of BMN eh?

Sudden rise in the last few minutes... We expecting any news soon or is there a big buy being worked again?
