Sorry for my doubts Maffa but I find it hard to believe you're claim to have spoken to Allenby capital.

I tried phoning previously and you just get a nice young receptionist answering. You don't get to talk to the top level guys. Also I find it hard to believe they would give out any information like that to a random phone caller such as you or me.

Can you prove your claims ? I hope you are correct. I'm tired of waiting too. It's frustrating.

The average time an AIM company spends in suspension after failing to release annual audited accounts is usually 1-2 weeks.

It's considered a matter of compliance urgency to get the accounts released and reinstate.

The fact that we are 6 weeks into suspension and not a peep - not even after Clive resigned - is extremely concerning.

What do we really think is going on behind the scenes now? 6 months into suspension and no sign of audited accounts.

Did Clive leave on amicable terms after a job well done? Or was he booted out? Or did he see the writing on the wall and not want to be associated with The End?

Anyone care to offering anything tangible ? Eg Gabon centred media, job adverts etc ?

Something that does concern me is the following:

You will recall when company received funds from its subscription raise of a few million at 0.05 around early June that the SP soared briefly from 0.04 to 0.08ish. it doubled up give or take.

Is it possible the new investors were duped too? Allowing some in a nefarious position to quickly double up and dump and get out ?

I hope not but one must consider all possibilities at this point.

Over 6 months and we still have not had a personal statement from Mr Kanme and there is no contact infos for him on any RNS.

This absolutely stinks right now.

Sarah, you are correct this time. It's atrocious that the accounts still have not been released. We are almost at 6 weeks suspension. They've literally had 7+ months to get this sorted. Maybe why Clive was booted out.

We're talking a company with 150-200 employees and a limited amount of sales - can't be too hard to do an audit. Unless of course there's something nefarious going on - however previous RNS indicated they are confident no foul play. I find it strange that Dubai investors would result out in a few million if there was anything ambiguous in the accounts.

The fact it hasn't been delisted and the fact the core business is operating is what gives me hope. I just can't see why millions have been invested just a few months back at 0.05 only for it to fold now. Must be something bigger at play.

We won't know anything until the next RNS drops. However I do agree that this timescale is appalling and disrespectful towards shareholders.

I respectfully disagree with your assessment @Samthespaniel. I frequently urge people reading my posts to do their own research and not take u word as gospel. Also I tend to focus on tangibles and facts - eg monies raised in RNS and board appointments.

Also pretty hard for people to invest or buy anyway when it's been suspended for the past month !

My personal opinion is indeed that there is a huge opportunity for a turnaround here all things considered: great board appointments, new Dubai investors, all time low priced. I don't think such an optimistic position is incredulous as you are making out. Say what you want but having a public AIM listing is still an incredibly valuable vehicle which investors may wish to tap in to. Any prospective board or investors able to turn this around could gain alot of prestige.

I do believe in the fundamentals and ethos of the company should the correct vertical managers structure be implemented.

I'm not exposing myself to any ridicule. I'm a golden beacon in a sea of despair. Offering hope and some realism while others continue to spout their negative agenda.

If you must know I'm currently about 5k down on this since I invested. A valuable lesson learned but also not the end of the world.

There are still holders here like me who refuse to submit when there is still hope.

We should hear something on the 31st or 1st because that will be a month since suspension.

I firmly believe positive waves are happening behind the scenes - it would have delisted by now otherwise.

Let's look at some positives again:

1) if you could hand pick one person on planet earth to be director general of your Gabonese wood company it would probably be Emmanuel Henriquet with all his local industry experience .

2)recent departing interim directors took shares instead of significant sums of cash as their compensation - "a bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush". Why would you take shares instead of 25grand unless you were supremely confident the shares would be worth more?

3) Dubai investors showed commitment recently and pumped millions in to the fundraise - clearly think it's phenomenal value at these levels.

4) fundamentals of the company are sound - excellent eco-friendly and sustainable luxury product - public respected aim listing.

In my humble opinion this will multibag many many times over once it is reinstated. So much value. Do your own research.

Something positive must be brewing. I'm very observant. Clive Roberts has removed "interim chairman of woodbois" from his Twitter Bio over the last few days. Henriquet has now updated his linkedin page to say "CFO/MD- Woodbois, Gabon" over the same period. This makes it somewhat official. His association and Mention of directorships at Woodbois did not go live until Roberts resigned.

Perhaps it really is as it looks - Roberts has stepped aside after a job well done - remember he owns 2% of the share capital of the company now (see recent RNS where Roberts accepted shares instead of cash for his hard work). New board is fully formed with Kanme, Van Der Merwe, Henriquet and potentially Edworthy and Cortez!?

Sarah gour problem is you are too preoccupied on the negatives. You're not telling us anything we don't already know. In fact it's not 98% down from all time highs. It's far worse. It's more like 99.8% down from all time highs.

We are invested at these levels because we see potential for a turnaround. We have assessed the inherent value to be greater than 0.03.

Indeed company has been atrociously mismanaged and indeed debt has been ludicrous. However, having a company listed on the AIM London stock exchange is still very valuable in itself and pretty damn difficult to achieve. There is value in that alone - especially a company with 20+ years.

New investors don't just see the potential in woodbois as an operating business, but also see the avenues and prestige an AIM listing can bring. Successfully turning around the fortunes of a public AIM listed company would do wonders for any burgeoning corporate CV.

Let's focus on another couple of facts - millions have been invested by new investors in woodbois recently and the company still refuses to become insolvent despite how easy and option that would be. There is a very clear targeted effort to keep the company afloat. That reason is because inherent untapped value is foreseen.

Must admit disappointed not to see any further RNS yet. Possibly one end of close today or Monday open. There should definitely be some RNS good or bad by early August.

We like it when you get bratty and flirtatious Sarah. Makes it more enjoyable when you get put on the naughty step and go all quiet again whenever there's a very positive RNS.

I suspect there's something major brewing behind the scenes. Someone like Edworthy who was proposed as a board member is far more qualified in this field than Clive Roberts was. Clive has a reputation of being somewhat of a Dellboy. I'm sure with a proper integrated PROFESSIONAL board this can be an amazing turnaround play.

Key investors from Dubai and Alcaraz clearly think so having put up millions. They know the potential here - not just financially, but also in terms of opportunity and prestige of owning an AIM company. The long term brand reputation and potential is fantastic.

There's not been millions pumped into a booming ecofriendly forestry company recently who incidentally have 10s of millions worth of value in net assets of land value just for it to go bust without a whimper.

I expect a positive update soon probably announcing new board movement, date for reinstatement and audited accounts.

Clive was replaced for a good reason in my opinion. Pushed rather than walked. To make room for more competent leadership.

Clive stepping down could be a blessing in disguise. He has a reputation of being quite "rugged" and "bohemian" and not the traditional corporate type we are looking for. The fact the audited accounts are taking this long to be released are actually a very poor reflection on him as interim chairman. This should have been resolved by now. It's a small to medium sized company, we aren't asking them to archive the Vatican catacombs.

I suspect as some others do that patience has run out among major investors and shareholders and Clive has been blamed unfairly or fairly for the failings.

Perhaps it was Shackleton who was the previous ined who was doing the work and Roberts was just the blagger.

Either way it might not be the worst thing in the world that he's gone. If we are honest the last 6 months have been pretty disastrous too and not enough movement or communication. Not enough transparency.

To be fair it's absolutely ridiculous the audited results are taking this long. We are on 23rd July now. Maybe they're dragging it out the full month intentionally to reorganise the structure behind the scenes before relisting.

It does seem like a very abrupt resignation

"Clive Roberts has changed role from non-executive director to interim non-executive Chairman and it is anticipated that this position will become permanent in due course." From 2nd April RNS.

It was anticipated that Clive's position as chairman would become chairman. Why has this suddenly changed so abruptly? Perhaps mutual consent. Perhaps new investors and key shareholders became frustrated at the lack of progress regarding suspension and audited accounts? Perhaps genuine personal reasons. I suspect we will never really know.

What we can conclude however is that this is either very good or disastrously bad. There's no in between.

I suspect we will find out soon. The final death knell for woodbois or the first domino to fall in a glorious resurrection ?

New RNS. Clive Roberts has resigned as intermim chairman/director.

This could either be really really bad or really really good.

Scenario 1: he knows the company is absolutely fooked now and has given up.

Scenario 2: he's done his job and new investors are pushing for their own people ahead of relaunch - Clive happy to step aside and be able to / see his investment in the form of share price rise now.

Either way at least something is happening and there's some movement.

Of course 6-7p is unrealistic unless we are talking extremely long term. However is 1p-2p unrealistic in the medium term if the house gets in order? I don't think so. I'm hedging on it being phenomenal value at current levels as you are. Worth the gamble now to me.

As for the recent fundraise. None of us have discussed who put in £2.5 million at 0.05 recently to a supposed zombie companies with the myriad of issues and uncertainty that woodbois has been plagued with?

I've done some background research and the new investors are Alcazar and Kaiser LLPs, both are investment firms based in DUBAI associated with property. This to me is extremely positive.

If you want people to invest, it's Dubai right now. Loads of cash to throw at vanity projects. Luxury wood is probably a product of great interest to the Dubai property market and to get this on the cheap is an attractive proposition.

Woodbois is good for Dubai and Dubai is good for woodbois. A match made in paradise.

As I have suggested in previous posts - too many vested interests and too much untslped potential for this to fail now. Also at core a phenomenal product just needing a proper business model.

It's now 3 weeks since suspension. We should absolutely be due an update very soon.

Yes you are correct this has plummeted from 6p to 0.03p but you are overlooking some extremely important factors:

1) COVID pandemic - catastrophic for a growing forestry business.

2) local military coups - huge disruption on business due to geopolitical issues outwith the control of the company.

3) clearly unqualified incompetent management tenure, particularly during the Guido and the Muppets era - sponsoring golf tournaments while neglecting key business processes.

The core business itself is obviously very promising and has had a huge range of past and current high profile investors. If it's strong enough to garner and raise £2.5m at current levels despite all the issues in very recent times then this should be encouraging. The fact the chairman himself is a personal shareholder and there is new board being assembled and serious effort made to save this is in fact very encouraging. At 0.03p the only way is up. It's relatively risk free now. Not far to fall from 0.03l to zero. But the range from 0.03 to 6p is enormous.

The potential for a multibag here is very realistic if trading resumes and some reassurances are given.

Personal I think it's definitely worth the gamble now and 0.03 is a laughably oversold price and does not reflect the core business model or the potential with a proper management structure in place.

Let's wait and see what happens with the next RNS's. Any reinstatement and positive news and 0.03 will be a distant memory.

I said I had spoken to someone from woodbois. Big difference. I do not really know the person just had an open line of communication by reaching out through contacts in RNS. Why is this so incredulous to believe ? Feel free to do it yourself. You can take the horse to water but you can't make it drink.

In fact I have spoken to 2 members of woodbois fraternity. Nothing has been disclosed to me which isn't already public knowledge. Namely I asked questions verifying the June 5th 2025 RNS - production is happening as of now. The company is still operating.

I have no reason to lie. Believe what you want but I will call a spade a spade.
