You're extremely optimistic like I was about it a few months ago, Maffa. But since that RNS from early June. Over 3 months. Much has changed.

Roberts left abruptly with no real explanation. He was the main protagonist and spokesperson of activities.

Since then the only news we have is of getting booted out of Russell share index.

The horse has bolted it seems.

Mr Kanme the CEO is the invisible man? Cobus can Der Merwe the high flying CFO we were told about ? Not a peep from him either. He seems to be someone who has his fingers in alot of rather greasy and unproductive pies.

Allenby are incentived to keep this on life support as they're on the payroll.

Directors also no doubt getting a decent wedge.

Look at the Mouila factory on Google earth. Just looks like a random farm building you would find anywhere. Not a multimillion pound business facility.

Nigerian princes with promised fortunes springs to mind.

Meanwhile no phone number works. No way of contacting anyone. Even the social media manager left a long time ago and there's no posts from them.

Gabonese media articles mention worrying associations.

As for the Dubai investors share raise ? All sorts of possible explanations. Moving money about ? Who knows.

Doesn't seem like shareholders or employees or customers matter at all. Bottom of the list.

What about Cortez and edworthy mentioned in the optimistic summer RNS releases? No sign of them either.

Yet still despite all this negativity there is a glimmer of hope. Maybe they are just being pragmatic and cautious. Maybe this will come up smelling of roses with the ecofriendly carbon business it was set out to be and shone so brightly at cop26.

Either way it's time we got an end to this story. Good or bad.

After Roberts departure the only official board members are Lucas Kanme (phantom CEO) and Cobus Van Der Merwe (CFO - we are yet to ever hear from him.

No doubts directors on big salaries and nomad also getting a cut. Amazed you got a response from Allenby @maffa. Seem like charlatans. Last nomad cannacord did a runner when they smelled a rat. Aren't Allenby meant to be doing more in their role to ensure transparency from company ?

At this point don't mind if this company collapsed. Rather just honest and put us out our misery.

Sarah you are correct in that it's an absolute disgrace no FY audited accounts for 2024 yet. A company of less than a couple hundred employees with a relatively small order book. An absolute abomination it's taking this long.

Who and why and how is this still going on?

We live in hope more than expectation now.

It's still pretty significant regardless of how you try to spin it. Seems he couldn't buy more because no sellers. Liquidity too low. Imagine that investment if aim does reinstate and us ticker market catches on.

I'm quietly optimistic about the week ahead. Have a feeling we will get news. The timeline aligns.

US Market looks like the buyer still holds a position but liquidity is so low right now and no one is selling at current price. He/she/they look like they are trying to accrue as much as possible but no sellers right now.

Radio silence on all other fronts. I think @maffa must be snorting glue because I get zero response from Allenby. Generic corporate jargon replies. I asked for minutes of latest meetings and I asked when to expect next RNS and how to contact Mr Kanme and was shut down "thanks for your feedback we will pass this on" - even then only got this response after multiple attempts. Then again maybe they are silent for a reason.

Trying to stay positive. We should be due an RNS soon good or bad. It's been ages.

From a human psychology perspective...

WODBF saw no trading activity whatsoever for 2 months. Completely dormant. Then yesterday someone buys as many shares as they can get on USA OTC Ticker market. Enough to move the SP up 375%.

This is too much of a coincidence to be random. It's too obscure to be the work of a random gambler.

Pure speculation on my part but to me it looks like inside knowledge or a leak. Someone appears to know something we don't and so tries to buy a decent wedge or position right before some good news drops. Why else is someone to get their hands on as many US shares as possible and why now ? You don't just throw money at this on a dormant share while its AIM sister is suspended unless you KNOW something. That's what it looks to me.

I am supremely confident that's what is going on here. ChatGPT seems to agree with me and has compared this behaviour to similar movements in past.

If UK AIM trading resumes then US OTC ticket market and AIM market prices should broadly realign which would see this small investment multiply many times over. So however is investing in US is being very shrewd indeed. Who knows what ?

Clearly, whichever source you use, today’s volume is dramatically higher than usual—likely several multiples over the norm.

It's still possible to invest in woodbois in US, trading not suspended there.

Maffa, attempts I have made to contact Allenby have been shut down in the most generic of manners too. "Thanks for your feedback we have forwarded to our corporate finance team" - that is literally all I get out of them.

Nevermind 2024 audited accounts... We should have half year results for 2025 by now. Absolute total shambles.

Previous RNS did however cite a total corporate restructure and a simplification of the vertical makeup of the company.

When can we expected these FY2024 auited accounts to be released ???

June 2025 RNS did say they are working tirelessly to get them released however Clive Roberts has walked in that time and there's been no announcements since.

@maffa have you anything else to share ? I contacted Allenby myself and haven't received a response.

Realistically will this be suspended another 6 months? Will it EVER reinstate ?

On a positive note... If an RNS releasing audited accounts and a resumption in trading occurs then what would be a realistic short term SP?

I have indeed spoken to a couple of folks from woodbois at ground level but unfortunately none of the head honchos such as Mr Kanme or cvdm I'm afraid.

No matter what happens from here on our good or bad I think we can all agree that the communication from Woodbois over the past 18 months has been absolutely rancid.

1) phone number on website does not even work - dead link. How do you expect sales enquiries when phone number doesn't even work and email does not respond ?

2) social media accounts don't reply despite showing 1000s of followers - is anyone actually actually operating them

nowadays ?

3) CEO has been installed since January but we are yet to receive a single personal statement from him - very limited background knowledge let alone a photo or contact details available. Might as well have Mickey mouse listed as CEO.

4) complete lack of RNS during this suspension and zero communications regarding expected timelines.

5) some RNS which have been released look like an illiterate person wrote them and rarely contain

Sarah I have done some research and it's not all lost.. yet.

This announcement from FTSE Russell is essentially a 2-day warning.

Company need to announce or communicate plans that show it is a going concern before 7am on 29th August or it will indeed be delisted.

While obviously extremely concerning, this is not yet fatal. Indeed you will recall we were in a similar position with companies house. There was also a confirmation statement presumably by CEO indicating the company would remain a going concern for next 12 months minimum. See below taken directly from Companies House.

Now this suggests 2 possibilities. The most realistic is they're just buying as much time as possible - it's very possible we will get an RNS 27th or 28th notifying that delisting has been avoided - even if it's simply woodbois communicating with FTSE to inform them they are working on a deadline/buy time.

Alternatively, it's very possible this is all by design and the intention is a private takeover. In such a scenario shareholders would still be compensated. Perhaps some of the Dubai investors are positioning to buy the company on the cheap/far below market value?

In both scenarios shareholders still receive some compensation.

All hope is not lost.

Surely we will have a company side RNS in next 2 days. I've scoured the boards of the other 3 companies mentioned with delisting threats in RNS and their fans seem to think the same.

It's essentially a warning from FTSE to communicate ASAP.

The gross debts of this AIM listed company are probably lower than 10million GBP. To be honest probably lower than 5 million all things considered.

The net assets massively exceed this.

Also factor in £2.5 million was just raised quite easily a few months back with multiple Dubai and Swiss investors getting involved it's not hard to make a case for why this is chbdoicallt undervalued.

I believe the current predicament is predominantly a result of extremely unlucky local geopolitical disruptions and previous incompetent management during Guido tenure.

Rewind a few years back and this was an extremely promising company post-covid.

The fundamental business model I believe is very sound and interesting for many potential editors due to the environmental sustainability factors. Woke and green are good pluses in 2025.

I like you tend to think that yes this will indeed multibag many times over from current levels if it is reinstated and there's some positive RNS.

0.03 is ridiculously oversold and ridiculously low. Should reach 0.10 fairly swiftly upon resumption in my opinion and far higher medium term.

All of the negatives have been discussed to death and already factored in to SP. It can't go any lower.

Either this delists and proves to be a borderline scam or... This becomes the multibagger to end all multibaggers.

If investors and nomad/new board manage to rescue this and there is a market for environmentally sustainable Gabonese luxury hardwood in the market and a proper profitable business plan is engineered then 0.03 could prove to be bargain of the decade. I'm not exaggerating.

However as in all bipolar situations, do your own research as the situation is extremely precarious and volatile and we don't have as many clear facts or numbers as we would want.

Hopefully an RNS soon. It's now a month since Mr Roberts resigned.
