I hold Chris Akers and Alan Duff in high regard. I knew little about Robert Johnson until I invested in DEV. My point is that I felt increasingly uncertain with my investment as the last 5 trading days passed by culminating with no RNS regarding the prospectus on the last trading day in August. At the expense of repetition, I find the company's news management and shareholder communication poor - as a smaller shareholder, one should not have to rely on any individual large shareholder to promote the company. Bobbyd58 - I think that you will get your 10 pence back with the grant of the exploitation permit which will be a very long time after promised by the ceo back in 2017/18. That target is the reason why I have been adding. Also whilst Rio Tinto have interest in the Dundas ilmenite and Anglo American have licences surrounding those of Bluejay at Disko and with neighbouring French interest in the licences at Thunder, there is the possibility that a FTSE 100 company or similar from elsewhere might seize the opportunity to trump all others, bid for Bluejay and acquire all its licences. It could then divi out what it likes to others and develop what it wants.
At the general meeting in December I learned that there might be developments with the Finnish assets but obviously I got no detail. There is thus plenty to play for and I am pleased that the Danish management appear to have come more to the foreground. So upwards from here imo but DYOR of which there is plenty.

The company has very good people like Chris Akers and Alan Duff who are large and supportive shareholders and but the average private shareholder of whom there are many and in some cases in quite substantial cannot rely on that fact and the "noisy" Robert Johnson to remain supportive themselves.

Of the various posts today I have homed in on the earlier one from DSC 1978. As far as I am concerned the Intrinsic subscription is dependent on a prospectus to be released on or before 31st August. I believe that that release is sufficiently material to be by RNS. Since Monday 31st August is a bank holiday there can be no release of the prospectus to the market on Monday.

Yes it could be posted on the company's website on Monday and the formal RNS released on Tuesday 1st September but I have not the confidence to have added over 800,000 shares as Eddie says he has done by his tweet today.

Thus I come into the weekend uncomfortable with my not unsubstantial holding.

As to the company's ability to communicate with shareholders it is very poor. It's news management is accordingly equally poor. I love the concept and the tie up with Lenovo good but how is the company really doing financially and with the uptake of its offering? Also, with no proper forward looking statement in the recent report what are the prospects in the real rather than the hypothetical future. Sorry to be a downer.

Indeed that would be good. I felt that there was buying last week in anticipation of a release of the prospectus leading to Intrinsic beginning to subscribe for the balance of its right say on Monday, The absence of an announcement seemed to me to create a news void.

What appears to have disappointed the market is the lack of release of the Prospectus which is a pre-condition for Intrinsic to exercise its right to subscribe for 100m shares at 10p in tranches. What the market appears to forget however, is that on 29th July it was announced that Intrinsic were subscribing for 2.5 million shares (in any event) and those have been issued.

I thought that it was worth a mention that I have been monitoring the share price this morning.

Despite all the 9 pence trades showing up as sells, they are in fact purchases.

Whitney - at the end of the last two days trading, the price closed at the auction price - yesterday the high of the day I believe.
Best when the market opens to allow the market in JAY to settle before relying on the buy and sell prices; that can change if there is a positive or negative RNS!!

and that is why FSA15's comment on Thursday that apparently we will have the prospectus by the end of August is welcome. I am assuming that he spoke to the company in order to confirm that by the end of August is still on. Bear in mind that Intrinsic have already taken part of their right.

Pingu - if you are invested in Dev which I believe you to be, are you not better off concentrating on how the company will prosper?
Shareseeker - may I suggest that you consider the RNSs released and in particular the RNS which describes the right granted to Intrinsic to subscribe for shares at 10 pence and the reference to a prospectus. I could explain the right for you but I think that it is best that you read the transaction for yourself.

Usually I do not comment about my trades, but I added 100k an hour or so before the close. There followed a 500k purchase and then there was the 1 million buy printed at the close. If Dev, although in a different field, follows the way in which companies like Zoom have developed, investors in Dev should have a treat.
But as with all companies the board have to deliver. Clearly some large investors who I need not name believe the board will. A bit warm!!

A retrace FSA15; not unusual. If the company is progressing as indicated, there should be nothing to concern yourself. The prospectus is still awaited.
