okfornow - it will take time for the EEE share price to recover. The company under its two former names has an appalling track record. Having said that, in Neil O'Brien and Mike Struthers, the company now has good leadership and although I do not know, I suspect they could be the reason why Artemis did the deal. The Artemis board have come under a lot of stick from posters on Hotcopper for doing the deal. It is my view that if holders are patient, they be well rewarded. Holders would certainly deserve a good turn around!!!

vxrandall was imo harsh in that he seems to have lumped Neil O'Brien and Mike Struthers into all past management of the company under whatever name it has previously existed. Each are ex Lundin Mining (worth research on its own) executives and were appointed to what was then Georgian Mining not long before problems started with the extension of the permits in Georgia. Irrespective of those problems they have stuck it out and appear to still have confidence that Gerogian permits work out. They have now added the Munni Munni deal. I would back them plus the assets but with caution.

Two points in answer. First the UK teachers unions are stretching their muscles and making it difficult for children to return to school. Might that assist the cause of EdTech? Second the UK has been welcoming an increasingly large contingent of Chinese students annually. Whilst I doubt that their thirst for British education will wane, may the numbers visiting the UK decrease in the light of Covid and may EdTech fill the gap?
And those comments do not cover a US/Canada take up.

I wont reply to Evertons tweet of an hour ago but in case he looks in. A good update from the company would not go amiss. Such would clear any remaining sellers and see the sp go north.

I agree with your comment DanielC43R - stocks gain ground if the management delivers. If the management does not, its shares wither as does the company which it manages. A well versed adage is under promise and over deliver.

Dev Clever is in the right place at the right time. Management has tied up what appears to be a good deal with Lenovo. It would be useful for investors to have an official update as to further progress released to the market. The contents of an RNS is preferable to comments by individual shareholders.

Tried 20 minutes ago and again just now a dummy purchase of 10,000 shares with the buy price quoted at 5.50 and cannot buy online. Anyone having a similar problem?

Thanks for that barnard. We have had an indication from Evertonmad. I naturally know what I have bought (like you barnard I did not see the stock falling back this week as it has done). With those assessed buys and buys and taking in comments made by others, my guess is that there are circa 1 million to 1.5 million to clear through.
It is, however, guess work on my part and one cannot rule out that some of those counted as sellers by Evertonmad might hold some back for the foreseeable. Evertonmad will have a better feel of the situation than us and if some are intent on clearing the remainder out, we may soon be clear of sellers in volume.
Then it is over to news flow and the normal liquidity of buyers and sellers.

Yes - a bit of a frustrating day. We still have a seller or sellers about but if Everton Man is right the loose stock should be picked up. A decent bit of news should get us moving ahead again.

and on the same point, with schools in the UK not returning until September and children at home, there are more opportunities in the UK.

AFAIAA a company's registrar keeps a register although I suspect that the client company is privy in order to see who is buying/selling stock.

A google search reveals that 120,000 Chinese students normally study in the UK per annum. I suspect that the number will decline as a result of corona virus. That does not mean that the Chinese students' desire for British education will necessarily decline. Might Dev technology prove advantageous to them?
