RE: Shareprice15 Dec 2020 21:40
You have asked for my opinion. Because of delays in submitting a prospectus, the fact is that the market is treading water in valuing the company. It is obvious that some investors (some with substantial holdings) have got bored with the delays in the production and release of the prospectus and have sold. However there are other shareholders who have been prepared to buy those shares and still believe in the prospects of the company- hence the oft mentioned comment that shares are in sticky hands. I do not regard the comments by Robert Johnson as just being an attempt to ramp up the price; is he lying when he states that he and his family hold close on 20 million shares? I doubt it.
There have been two events which have stood out for me the one which is obvious, the other of which may be obtuse to you.
First, why would Lenovo allow a long-term employee (Richard Lee) to start work at Dev Clever if its management did not think highly of what Dev Clever or Chris Jeffries has to offer? If Richard has been able to impress his business acumen upon the company and fill a void which had existed prior to his arrival which had been identified by Lenovo, then behind the scenes the company could be in a far better shape business wise than some can be forgiven to think. Thus, I hazard a guess that turnover and profits have increased or losses reduced with a clear route to profits in the future.
Second, I spotted a particular poster who knew Chris Jeffries and commented about his knowledge of his abilities and drawbacks (we all have them). He posted a one liner quite recently, out of the blue and that post filled me with optimism.
The next tranche of Assimilar's right to invest is conditional upon the publication of an FCA approved prospectus. Some have argued that there is an alternative limb to the condition which I am ignoring for the purposes of this reply. I suspect that the draft has been submitted to the FCA who can seek adjustments to the document and if it does and any such adjustments are acceptable to the company it should be published soon. Alternatively it may me be accepted as drafted. In any event we have Covid which can have affected turn around time. If I am right and the business as a business has developed further since Richard's arrival, that business will need capital to prosper and QED I anticipate that the prospectus will be available soon and the next tranche paid by Assimilar.
If, as I suspect, the business as a business has improved we may also see an up to date trading statement which could be promising. If the prospectus is good I see the share price moving forward.; also a good statement even more so.
Finally if NISA/Veative and Dev Clever agree the model to be offered to the 70,000 schools under the NISA umbrella upon terms which are beneficial to all parties, I can see the share price waltzing past the range within which we have traded for the past few months. Hope this helps although I cou
