RE: 14.5 pence £2.9 million5 Jan 2021 22:09
What RM stated is where it is.
Bo Moller Stensgaard has been taking a bigger and bigger role in the management of JAY. He understands Greenland very well cf Geus and c.f. his growing salary. Greenland is an associate country of Denmark - Bo Moller is Danish. There are other members of the management team who are Danish. Jay is a founder member of ERMA c.f. critical minerals and finance to develop critical mineral prospects. Who better to lead the way forward and take charge of the optimisation study to improve the capex required to build plant and finance to develop Dundas than someone who understands the mentality of the Greenlandics, knows the key personel and who has gained their trust. Forget comparing them as if they are British and think British - they do not. The Greenlandics are an independent people, proud and value their wild life and flora.
The foregoing is not to belittle what RM has achieved but I guess that he feels that he has taken the company as far as he can at ground level and that he can now leave matters at ground level to the "locals" and trust them to make sure that the value of his 76 = million shares in Jay increases.
It makes plenty of sense to me. My only disappointment is that the share price (14.5) is not at that level to act as support but I see the new investor adding at the lower levels (as stated in the RNS), being an institutional investor, possibly American and wanting himself/itself to see the price back at the level at which the RM deal was completed and then higher.
SnipVW - it would be a mistake imo if RM were to interfere too much with that which Bo Moller does. Ex Prime Ministers do not make good bed fellows if they snipe away from the back benches instead of making quiet suggestions when asked to help.
