CuriusOdy - I have been invested in Dev Clever at 7 pence since May 2020. I have added occasionally since then. In the time that passed occasionally a new member or very recent member of lSE has turned up with criticise the company or those associated with it. When called out they normally disappear. In you case you were having a go suggesting a conspiracy between a guy who appears to me to be a TA poster on twitter and two shareholders Johnson and Duff.
I am not invested in other companies with which either or both appear to be associated. What I do know is that over the past few weeks various people have appeared especially on twitter giving no criticism of the company but attacking the share price. Since they are not tweeting for altruistic reasons i can only assume that they are either shoring the stock or want the share price lower for some reason. Call me naieve but I can think of no other reason.

If you have a criticism of the management of Dev Clever including the secondment of a senior guy from Lenovo, its offering, the tie ups with Veative/NISA or those who have invested in it including David vonRosen I would be interested to hear your views. In the meantime I view you, rightly or wrongly as someone who just wants to damage investor sentiment for some reason.

PS As far as Johnson is concerned this is not the first time that he has closed his twitter account. The last time he also came under abuse and at a time when I understand his mother was dying. I understand that he has again come under abuse - hence he closed his twitter account.

That comment CuriusOdus for a first ever tweet on Dev Clever and a recent member of LSE is defamatory unless you have proof a) that Noel Borg is "pump and dumper " and b) that he is likely to have been working with Duff and Johnson in some kind of conspiracy. In my view you should take far greater care when posting.

I don't often publish my trades but added 50K shares yesterday and another 25k this morning.

I am not pointing fingers at anyone in particular but Robert Johnson closed his twitter account because he was getting abuse from some holders who seemed to take it upon themselves to blame him for the fall in the price over the past few trading sessions. I understand that he is not a seller and if anything bought more Dev yesterday.
There are some nasty characters around who are trying to promote themselves on twitter as doyens of the market criticising those who post anything positive not just about Dev Clever but other companies as well.
If you are long Dev but are tempted to follow any of these characters may I suggest that you unfollow them for one of the things that they glory in is the number of followers they have.
I am hopeful that those of us who are long in Dev Clever will have a better day!!!

Looks as if it is turning, Was NT to sell just 10k for a long time today - one can now get a price to sell 50K.

and that jackthe bear is what I hope he does - learn from the mistakes and not repeat them. We have all committed gaffes in our working lives - the key is to learn by those gaffes.

Under the original agreement announced by RNS on 25th February, Sitius (David vonRosen had a call option over 5 million of the shares owned by Chris Jeffries at 25 pence per share which option has now been exercised. But today's announcement refers to two options each of 5 million shares exercisable before February 2023 and they total 10 million shares. Could someone please point out how the other 5 million shares under a call option arise.
I have missed or misread something but I cannot find my mistake.

Gino2903 - I commend your frank appraisal of Craig Brown and your honest disclosure of your investment position. CB is not the first Ozzie who I have come across who has bigged up a company's prospects and in effect led retail investors down the garden path. One has to hope that he has learned from his errors.
I regret that I have a jaundiced view of the placing in that in my opinion Novum Securities were not a good appointment and there is a fine dividing line between what is best for one's client and what is best for one's own fee income - brokers do well out of placings. Brown showed immense naievity regarding the placing. He has now freely admitted that the company did not need the money.
The events also in my view lead to questions about a very highly paid chairman - W. Tang. Where was he whilst all this was going on and should he remain in position? What does he offer the company which another prospective chairman on over £100k per annum (or even less) can offer?

I am going to be extremely simple in my analysis. I have no information on the figures but let's say that from each one £ equivalent that a NISA school pays for access to the platform, Dev earns 10 pence. Do investors really think that there would not be a cost (consideration) for Dev to acquire 100% of those sales instead of just 10%? And do they really think that the shares element of the deal should not lead to dilution?

The question to be answered is whether the deal is or is not a good deal? If, as I am prepared to accept, it is a good deal then investors should accept that there is no such thing as a free lunch. What we do not have are the amount of projected sales but that should become clear in due course. At this stage I am prepared to accept the judgment of Chris Jeffries and Ankur Aggarwal and emphasise to myself that Ankur Aggarwal is not taking 30 million shares in Dev for a joke.

In my opinion he would not have done so as against staying independent and earning from the Nisa tie-up unless he felt that there was a tremendous future for DEV Clever.

Exactly TalkingSense, There is no transparency. As matters stand it looks as if ECR is based on waffle and as such Craig Brown has shot himself and his reputation in the foot.

But that is as matters stand.

Glittertip - a very well written post with which I totally agree. It is part of a human's vanity to read comments about their performance - that applies to sportsmen, actors, musicians and CEOs/chairmen of listed companies. I bo accordingly expect that Brown will read the negative words posted b existing and potential investors.
With all the hints both as to results and a potentially successful JV, investors are now musing whether what was being said by Brown was what he would like to happen or reality. CEOs are as much in the public eye as politicians - the difference is that the audience is smaller but the impact upon the finances of an investor is as important.
It takes time to build trust - it takes minutes to damage it and sometimes, for ever.
