Not all £ are equal it’s how you make the £ and the quality of that £

All delivered HUGE growth in numbers. All above expectations. The share prices? Haven't moved

Is the market now seeing tech as fair value (given such higher forward P/e multiples?) so even if boo hits or beats numbers (including margin) will the reception be mute

An interesting note for someone who thought if they wanted to Asos could fight back against Amazon and that "platform" is just a website (just the way topshop had 30 years ago). Amazon is currently added 1 new warehouse every 24 hours! That's insane and gives a sense of what amazon is vs anyone else who is online retailing. The only way to fight back? You have to own or have exclusivity over brands (Next, boohoo and now asos waking up to this with Topshop)

What are you classing as overhang?

The 11.6million shares were placed ie bought straight away. They aren’t still available in the market

If you mean “shares still not sold” (which is true meaning of overhang) then you’re waiting 10 years but again these will be placed in a book build

I bought here today. Saw the fall yesterday and I thought that was a buying opportunity. I released some cash today and got in near 91p

A founder selling would bother me if he was in the prime of his life but the guys are well into their golden years. Realistically they have been an overhang for a while

Institutions snapped them up and the rest of the stake sales will be handled the same with book builds so I see no issue

Re trading and manchester. I’m from manchester and the buses are busy! Also I think the reform policy when it comes around in 2025 won’t be in place

I think there will be a refresh of the current arrangements

With a lot of the stocks mentioned above this is the case for a lot of investors (newbies since covid especially). Not much of an understanding of valuation coupled with no understanding of how debt have replaced equity value and how new issuance have dilutive earnings

If you can’t value a share how do you know you got or for a good price or you can sell it for a profit? There’s a lot here hoping for £4 just because it once was £4. Haven't a clue what £4 actually means

Worse still there’s some hold the shares but disagree with the business model, strategy and management!

Just been past the Manchester store (Arndale) - busy. It has been every time I walk past. Also a few people dotted about with balloons

Scribblers - they have a store in a prime foot fall location and it is quite small so they look to be doing well
