I meant if you sell before you lose the divi.

Ellltelinv. If you want to sell & keep the divi you need to sell on 6th June or later. If you sell before you lost divi. Forget the record date, it means nothing.

Narcus. 3.8p divi equals 5% for 6months, so 10% for 12months. I do realise this will drop though next year with the divi cut.

Jedclampit. It is very unlikely vod will pay a special divi from the proceeds of the spanish sale. Vod already intends paying down some deb't & is commencing a share buy back scheme,(see R.N.S. for details). The divi is going to be reduced next year by the way.
