I think that we have all been very realistic - even conservative - nice that there are no BOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!! posters, but we may get them tomorrow.

I hope and believe that we will get the results tomorrow - I for one will be on line at 7 am waiting for the red dot, but will be on the London Stock Exchange page as it comes through more quickly.

£10++ would be my best day on the market for a very long time.
I think it would be nice if AA makes an opening offer of £15 to take us private, and that somebody else seriously outbids him.

If you look at the fundamentals page on here, you can perhaps understand why potential new investors are slightly put off by our share price.
If you look at it, you will see that our net asset value per share last year was $3.16, and a pre-tax profit of £7.38 million. Sorry to mix the currencies, but that's how it's reported.
I know that we long-termers are fully aware of the real position, but many investors rely on the last reported position, because they can't be a*sed to research the latest position.
Once the truth is out, and the page is updated, prospective buyers will look and say 'Wow, what a bargain!'.
If you compare us with Tullow for example, our MCap should be North of £500 million.
They will be right.
RRE is still a bargain at £10, £15, £20 etc.................
Then there is the potential upside of a major acquisition.

Ammu123 yes it is nonsensical that we are less than 88e which is the rump of a dog called Tangiers Petroleum with a prospective drill in Alaska - no cash, no production, just a dream.

I think that many of us are bored rigid at the moment, I certainly am.

I think that the results will be as expected, and in these uncertain times, it will be hard to pull off any startling deals.
The rumour mill will ramp wti oil up towards $35 to $40, Brent $40.

At that level we will banking a profit of circa $300,000 per day allowing for the gas hedging and the oil/gas mix that we have.
That would give us a profit for the year of more than £100 million per annum, taking into account monies banked already.
My opening guess - £8.50 but should be £9.00

My take is that this is a slight retrace but we should move back towards £8 into the close.
Results out on Monday and an OPEC deal Monday evening.
$35 to $40 Brent by end of week and RRE back to £10.
