RE: Looks like an 80,000 trade at 10 o'clock29 Apr 2020 15:23
Photographer, no I don't mind you asking at all.
I might even be able to help you out.
I have a Crystal Ball that glows when there is a big trade, and I look into it and it shows the number.
I can get you one, they are cheap at £500 and worth every penny - DM me.
On a more serious note, the answer is that I use the A Dv f n smartphone app which is free.
It gives you f ree l ive p rices, although you have to keep refreshing it or take out a subscription.
It has two graphs. One shows the Live P rice, and below it there is a bar chart that seems to show every trade, whether it is reported, or not.
I think that this stuff is only on the app, not the laptop version.
The bar chart showing the size of the trades in blue or red has a scale on the right hand side that shows the size of the trades, but I have to use a magnifying glass to read it, as you cannot zoom it!
As far as I know, this is the only way that you can see trades that will be reported late, and it surprises me that you can see them, but I'm not going to say anything.
As far as Cape Town is concerned, I too had a fabulous stay there once, at Camps Bay, just up the road. We had a wonderful room with a terrace overlooking the beach, where the Ladies' Beach Volleyball World Championships were happening 30 yards away. Naturally, I took a sporting interest in the matches, but there was a running commentary from my girlfriend as to how ridiculous the players' bikinis were. Unfortunately, some of the better formed girls had fairly frequent clothing problems, which were appreciated by the crowd, but not my girlfriend. She decided fairly quickly that we didn't want to watch such a so-called sport, and we were there to visit the various tourist attractions, not a bunch of ****s. I had to agree, of course.
