Evening folks. Surprised at how relatively inactive this BB is - I think this is potentially one of the most exciting shares over the next 5-10 years with market share there to be taken. Very happy to be building a bit of a position for the long term.

Simmo, just to clarify, Helium don’t have a market cap trigger, they have their own fund guideline re no single holding exceeding a particular % threshold of their overall portfolio.

Yep, all points taken. Mine are questions rather than criticisms - as I say, I'm pretty agnostic on the mining licences for now and the share price movement would suggest many people are. In general, this is amongst my top 5 holdings so I'm hardly on the fence here. This company is worth next to nothing now, based on market cap. There are houses not ten miles from me that sell for more than the market cap of ORCP. So whilst I believe that the likeliest direction is up - and significantly so - if it all amounts to nothing, we can hardly say that a great big house of cards came tumbling down! It's all a question of risk appetite and whether you believe your capital is best served elsewhere. I also suspect HRH does not generally get involved in things where he might appear or be perceived to lose. Good luck to all.

I think you make a good point lordsidcup in terms of PIs having plenty of other options if they don’t like this strategy. My main concern is that few things that are really worth having are so apparently easily won (£90k). If these mining licences are such great prospects, surely there would have been numerous other Precious metal miners (with a presence in WA already) who would have picked them up? My understanding (which is limited where mining is concerned) is that Northern Mining did the Historic drilling - why did they not pursue if there’s such potential commercial gain? I’m pretty agnostic but non-plused on this one!

Hi, I think these are particularly good at providing a well-written, digestible summary of ‘the story so far’, which is always valuable when looking to assess an investment, so long as the source is reliable. Its perhaps slightly light on what I would articulate as value-added insight, but insight can be notoriously hard to gain, especially where junior market shares are concerned. I’m always looking for new investment leads that I can then research myself - to be honest, I wish this forum (LSE, not GFIN specifically) did more of that and less of the bickering and wild speculation - so I’ll certainly read your blog. Well then newbies need to learn to do their homework, just the same as everybody else. If you buy shares based on comments from people you don’t know from Adam, then more fool you. And if you judge a share’s performance based on three hours of trading then more fool you x 2. I wish you well, nonetheless.

I have to say, the idea that comments on here materially affect the share price is about as laughable as coming on here to tell us that you won't be buying. Fundamental, as you walk down the high street, do you pop your head in to all the shops to let them know that you won't be buying anything from them?!

Clearly, the really big story (according to HL’s attribution of news) is that TIkTok have chosen to partner with us instead of Microsoft. Might bring in a new wave of younger investors, I suppose!

SirGBoycott, whilst I agree with what you say, my only caveat is that isn't that why they hire supposedly experienced Financial PR and other services (St Bride's) and that most of the frustration this week has been on the poor calibre of yesterday's announcement, not necessarily on what it conveyed (because it didn't really convey anything!). So point taken, but then at least ensure that your healthy fee-charging experts are actually doing an acceptable job.

Agree. The problem they’ve given themselves with such a pallid RNS is that they risk (to misquote Lincoln) pleasing none of the people all of the time. If this transpires to succeed, those who have lost patience and sold will ask why there wasn’t more to go on. If there is some issue, those who have kept the faith or even topped up will feel hoodwinked.
