New year share tips from the newspapers, Investors Cronicle et al, Brokers buy notes and maybe more newsflow for the company could drive the SP higher very quickly.

Yes it looks like the overhang is nearly gone.
Still no sign of my 100k buy yesterday which will probably appear after hours today...the late reporting of trades is typical of MMs in AIM stocks and is against good market transparency and practice.

Much more to come here with a possible near term ( 3/4 months) catalyst
being the IPO of Vedanta which could be a $ 1 billion market cap company of which
Puretech holds over 50%.
Bill Gates and his wife are big investors in Vedanta so worth holding for a while longer imho.

It looks like c1.5m of the 3.25m warrants are now subject to the use it or lose demand by the company.
I suspect that the very firm warrant holders have exercised already and now some PIs are selling to pay for the warrants which is logical if you are sitting on 250% gains from the placement.
Say a third of the 1.5m are selling that leaves c500,000 shares to be sold.
I got 100,000 at 30p and was offered another 100,000 at same price.
So once this small overhang is gone we should move back up.

Agreed I have major shareholding in Puretech
one of the greatest and safest opportunities in the market ( and now on Nasdaq).
Worth looking at its Board , Balance Sheet and amazing suite of drugs .

Great minds think alike ..you just pipped my sentiments by seconds.
Pause now healthy as warrants come into play.

Looks like the SP is set to pause for breath after doubling since the 4 November which as Tracy says may be a positive thing as we await more warrants being exercised in the coming week.

Next important SP level is 40p to accelerate the second leg of the warrants exercisable at 30p .
So technically we could see c6.5m shares issued during coming weeks if most (all) of the warrants are taken up which will add to the market liquidity.
If the market absorbs any selling from these new shares then we move up another leg even without news.
Even with these extra shares the liquidity will still be low given the c70% of shares held by firm holders

There are quite a few sellers here today but looking for 35p for size.
Made my final buys today and yesterday and will to do another TR-1 form again but warrants being exercised daily are making the declaration a moving target.

Do you not think that the sellers that crashed the share price from around 170p to 12p have had their day in the sun.
Just because the sentiment is improving you want sellers to stop any push upwards.
Market lesson I have learnt...
More buyers than sellers ...price goes up
More sellers than buyers...price goes down
Equal number of buyers and sellers ..price unchanged.
Let the market decide as always where the correct balance is and will adjust accordingly.
I don't remember calls for more sellers as the SP crashed by over 90% in the last 18 months.
That's what I have learnt in 45 years in the market.

I don't know what you are on about...we need sellers ?
Nobody selling here today and I had to pay 35p just now for stock.

Of course the corollary to equity raising is when you have an emergency rights issue or placing at 1.1 or worse to save the company from going bust.
We have seen a few of those over the years sadly

Might be a bit extreme to see £5 in 3 years .
Don't worry about another placing as it is all about market cap and future earnings.
If they raise another £3 million next year when market cap is £ 40m what's the problem.
I know we will be diluted but if your shareholding value has doubled /tripled do you care
Thats what growing listed companies do otherwise why be on the equity markets.

Clarification
Up to 18 months for final subscription of the final investment ....6 months and 12 months for first 2 tranches.
So we may see 1st tranche by March 2021 by which stage the SP hopefully will a lot higher and accordingly much fewer share issued to 5G.

Remember it is an 18 month Prepayment Subscription Agreement so shares ultimately issued will depend on a future SP which imho could be north of £5

The terms of the Subscription Agreement are deliberately opaque and are controlled by Ethernity to avoid massive dilution of management shareholdings.
5G is a Delaware structure controlled by one individual in my view and served as a stopgap to reassure clients on Ethernity's ability to service contracts.
5G may exercise options within terms of the agreement but for a much smaller shareholding than initially feared.
I suspect it is a friendly investor who is very happy with returns so far.
I agree that company may not seek recourse to 5G funding if things go according to plan.

I don't know what will happen to SP if the company releases some positive news.
Still no sign of 5G making its move .
