Still no definitive news on Lupuzor but positive discussions continuing with Avion
Still alive and kicking and McCarthy keeping his cards close to his chest for once.
As the Interims have to be approved by the Auditors and the Nomad the term POSITIVE discussions continue with Avion must be factually correct.
All to play for still .

The SP collapse is ominous and I will lose a fortune after 8 years of stubborn faith in Immupharma if it goes tits up.
Certainly heightens the feeling of being alive !

I have been a holder for 3 years in Puretech with a large holding and truly believe it is utterly undervalued.
Interesting little move yesterday and let's see what happens today

No wonder this board is dead when an article from April 2021 is quoted as a reason for the rise in the SP today.
More like the £/$ currency parity is making Puretech a no brained takeover target now that its cash plus investments in its quoted associates are worth more than its market cap before you take into account its own exciting drugs programme plus its non quoted investments in its associated companies.
Market analysts valued Puretech at £7/8 and that was before the collapse in £
Takeover a distinct possibility imho.

The Interims will DEFINITELY be announced this Friday and will contain a statement on the discussions with Avion following the FDA written response.
So some form of update at 7am Friday.
Let us wait and see.

Well no news in the way of a RNS this morning is great news imho.
Definitive bad news must be announced ASAP but nothing still so all to play for imho.

Further falls will add to the thesis of the worst case scenario but a rebound will obviously have the opposite effect.
Set your clock for 7am for possible RNS and 8am for the market opening.

Hope springs eternal but the price action last week must give serious cause for concern.
I fully expect a RNS tomorrow or Tuesday as required under the Stock Exchange Market Abuse Regulations
with significant insiders having knowledge of possible company making/ breaking information.
Even Tim McCarthy must be aware of this fact so buckle up .
I would be utterly delighted if the naysayers are proved wrong.

Both logic and the market suggests it is game over here and a mega loss for me and other longterm investors.
However we may be surprised but one way or the other we will know our fate this week as the Interims RNS will be released this Friday .
However I suspect we may hear more sooner than that.
At 3p most of us are down so much that we have no option but to await the final denouement.
The market is seldom wrong and the price action suggests a big leak of bad news.

In fact Avion was reported to have asked for advantageous differentiation for the treatment ( Lupuzor) for Lupus patients.
Sorry about that but I had to back to the Proactive Investor comments to get the wording correct.
The seeking of " advantageous differentiation " is a totally different matter altogether and the FDA may have no way Jose.

The words quoted regarding Avion's questions to the FDA were " aims to strengthen future product labels and to secure the advancement of product differentiation in the treatment of Lupus patients " or words to this effect.

Remember after the FDA confirmed in July that the written response would be at the end of August . It was also noted that Avion had submitted questions to the FDA regarding the product ( Lupuzor) usage aimed at the product labels and advancement of treatment differentiation for Lupus patients.
Obviously the FDA has responded to Avions specific questions in addition to other protocols etc in its written response.
Did Avion like what the FDA said in this regard .
We will soon find out.

As I have said previously..under Stock Exchange Market Abuse Regulations .where the share price has fallen by over 50% in a few days and where insiders ( Avion and the Directors) possess market sensitive information i.e that Avion has pulled out of the Phase 3 trial due to the FDA written response Immupharma
must inform the market immediately...that means Monday or Tuesday.
Conversely if no RNS is issued then we may assume discussions are still ongoing and we then await the Interims RNS next Friday for a firm update.
Nonetheless the crash in the SP over the past few days
is concerning

So we are back in a holding pattern after yesterday's somewhat confusing RNS.
I suppose the next steps are down to Avion and whether the FDA guidance is unduly onerous or costly for Avion to have a reassessment on its involvement.
Hopefully Avion will proceed following its review and discussions with Immupharma.
So back in Limbo until we hear more.
Share price steady today so perhaps no negative leaks or news from Alpharetta in Georgia !

Very well elucidated and I totally agree.
The FDA is providing GUIDANCE to Avion on how best and most effectively to conduct the trial .
It is doing so in a proactive manner imho to ensure a better chance of ultimate regulatory approval.
That's the way we both read it and hopefully we are correct.
By the way a number large buys of over 2m shares reported after hours.
We are still in the game imho
