So, I am excited to see what happens tomorrow. I know people say that short term SP variation is irrelevant. I disagree. Shareholders may be more likely to hold a share that is steadily increasing in value. A larger MCAP would deter hostile takeovers before the story is complete and , lastly (and I confess possibly most deliciously) I really want to see any shorters royally rogered. Fingers crossed.

Just read RNS again. Screams out at you. ....."a consortium of investors lead by BE"..........! Seems there is pointer in there to lend support to Bella's idea.

So, if I was Fortune or Mikhail, the next step in the vertically integrated story is to announce some big orders for VRFBs for us to manufacture....

Bella. That would be genius. Release the gain after the placing to make increased capital available for reinvestment. God, I hope you are correct. We could see BE BMN buy up the major part of the VRFB manufacturing knowhow and capability whilst everyone is sleeping....

It wouldn't have been possible to manipulate this to anything like the same degree if there hadn't been a large persistent seller crystallising short term profit.

Bella. I get where you are coming from and it is possible you will be proved correct. I certainly hope so. However, it is only a year ago that almost all of the LTSs here tried to guess the date at which the SP passed £1. Flushed with plans for the 30p party (now to be rearranged on a date in the future), most went for sometime in 2019. How wrong that proved to be. I am not selling, (held since 2013) but the investors we need here have to be long term. Look how costly the placings have been in terms of short term investors selling out to crystallised profit way below true value and allowing the manipulation of the share price.so, we need sticky fingered long term holders with an eye on 5 year returns rather than 1 year timeframe fly by nights.

I wrote that I know 2 CEOs of renewable energy companies neither of whom knew much about VRFBs. Played football last night with one of them. Talked at length about this. He HAD heard of Avalon. Thought the technology was unproven and had no idea of the fire risk or lack of charge degradation advantages over Li. The message is slow to get out. But it will do.

OK , I'll add a third requirement to my list of:
1. Off AIM
2. Hard evidence of income from BE
AND / OR
3. END OF LARGE DISPOSAL

Well, it gives me absolutely no pleasure at all to say that I had expressed the view some weeks back that this might not respond the way we all hoped even to Vanchem completion. There are other factors at play here. It is clear the MMs still have some shares they can throw away at rock bottom prices. However, I still dont get the way the SP responded today. It was a perfect spike and retrace opportunity for the MMs and yet they didn't even bother - probably because insufficient volume. We need two things in my view.
1. Off AIM
2. Concrete evidence that the concepts behind BE are translating into income.
I fear we will stagnate until those occur and I now could see even Mokopone having minimal effect . I'm going to go and up my dose of antidepressants and sit in front of my light box now........

Well, I've got to the point where I believe management will deliver on their plans. So, little in the way of surprise here. The interesting bit for me is : what will the market make of it. I'm hoping it's not just early spike with retrace!!!
