Doing this every day has without doubt stalled the momentum as it sews the seeds of doubt. Of course, the situation can be resolved positively with news which has been pretty thin on the ground other than the Q1 operational updates. I know that FM only does 'big' news but occasionally it would be good to get the 'little' news that keeps interest alive. The drilling commencing at Brits, for example, would have been a strong news item for any other company I am invested in.

I have to agree with the sentiment. The one caveat is how this Kumtor purchase pans out. If it does then the gloves are well and truly off and I think that this has a spectacular future. If it doesn't then we wait for the next move.

They are not going to get the drills out and certainly won't 'start bringing up the goods'. It is clear from the RNS that this is effectively being treated as a shell on the lookout for opportunities. The likelihood is an RTO with the associated suspension. RTOs, if successful, can be very lucrative.

I don't believe so and I can't think of many companies that are further removed from ARS than BZT. And I don't mean geographically!

Actually this is one company where the discoveries are very predictable. This is due to the fact that the areas being targeted have already been explored to some extent previously. You look at the process undertaken in the past and it is pretty much a preliminary campaign for the whole KSK region. As such, the current targets (BKS, silver mountain, etc.) are already known to have mineralisation, it is just a case of how much and at what grade. BKZ has shown that the results can still surprise. Silver mountain has had some excellent sample results and Baroi, when the permit arrives, can build upon the eye catching drill results encountered previously.

This is the end of an era of value destruction with the departure of Williams*2. Hopefully the new era will break with tradition and actually create value. The new guys seem to have appropriate backgrounds so let's see what comes out. I suggest people should try to forget the past as those associated with it are (almost) gone. Easier said than done on AIM.

You work in IT and you see no future for Blockchain? I can honestly say that I haven't met anyone in the industry recently who has not been positive about the potential benefits of Blockchain. Cryptocurrencies you can keep as far as I am concerned but Blockchain is a whole different beast. It may well be heading down into the 'trough of disillusionment' but that doesn't mean that it or some derivation will not ultimately be successful. After all, the underlying technical approaches for the Blockchain are well understood and accepted.

I think that they were pretty clear last time out that their Vanadium price was conservative and if the current price was maintained for the rest of the year then there would be a huge uplift in cash generation and a commensurate shift in share valuation. This gives them room to gradually up their target as the story unfolds over the year. If current Vanadium prices hold until the end of June, it will be virtually impossible for the price to achieve their target for the year without crashing to prices below their long term projection. Given the dynamics of the market and the lack of any visible price deflators, it seems unlikely that this will be the case.

If nothing else, there are no other companies to compare to in the Vanadium space that have production capability. AIM in particular, but also markets in general, tend to value on the basis of routes to revenue/profitability. As such, I suspect that Largo is as good as you are going to get for now.

Numbers are close to achieving mine plan. Debt paying down (tonne completed early 2020) and intercompany loans being repaid. The key message is that the production is enabling AAU to be self sufficient based on repayment of loans. This should support exploration at Salinbas without the need for placings. Should drilling suggest that there is a significant ore body there (e.g. akin to Hot Maden) then they may wish to accelerate exploration and raise more funds but this would likely be at a higher level given the potential in the area.

That is the risk with these companies. The success rate of 'disruptive' companies is pretty low so your successes have to be very successful indeed. Not every company will be a BTL but the BTLs of the portfolio will hopefully outweigh the Vibes. The Vibe is clearly not dead at the moment and it is not clear what the investment position here will be ultimately.

I use HL. In fact, I first became a customer of theirs in about 1985/6 so have used them for over 30 years. They are a completely different beast to Beaufort and if they go belly up the whole market will take a dive. I am reasonably confident that they will be ok and that your money is as safe as it can be in an institution that is associated with investments (i.e. there are always risks!).

The whole thing is completely unsatisfactory from Beaufort's activities, PWC apparent greed and the pathetically late actions of the FCA. They should have been shut up years ago. I suspect that PWC's activities are now forensic in nature rather than standard liquidation. If that is the case then they are clearly rooting out wrongdoing and somebody is likely to end up on the wrong end of a court case. But it will cost an absolute fortune to conduct such a thing with a company like Beaufort I should imagine. In these circumstances I would suggest that suing anybody involved is an option (potentially including the FCA who allowed it to go on for so long). One interesting aspect is the potential impact on the shares of companies who had Beaufort as a broker and, more particularly, who had used Beaufort to undertake placings. The MTR 'stable' of companies were classic examples and several 'notable' (notorious?) investors were significant clients. If these shares are going to be used to pay very large costs of PWC then those share prices are going to come under a lot of pressure as the portfolios are unwound.

Sparkyboy1, I don't think that there is anybody who would say that Kyrgyzstan is without its risks and it's chequered past has paid testament to that. Oxus Gold proves that it is not the only one as it was actually Uzbekistan that drove it out of business (although they had their dispute with Kyrgyzstan as well over Jerooy). Aurum ended slightly differently as I recall but I don't remember the details. I would be foolish to say that it is different now and Kumtor proves that difficulties still arise here. But Kumtor also proves that you can also run a gold mine for quite a period of time in the country. CGH have as good a relationship as any and the members of the board are very familiar with the region so if anyone is going to succeed it is them. But success will be by having smaller amounts of a larger pie. Effectively they will have to give up substantial amounts of their opportunities if they wish government support which history has suggested is imperative. I understand Fidelity's position. You go into this region with your eyes open or your wallet empty. But this is elephant region in terms of gold deposits so success can be highly lucrative. Worth a portion of a portfolio but only amounts that you would be willing to lose.

Endion, Don't worry about them. This was extensively discussed at the time. The best answer to their ill informed comment is a rising share price. If you comment on their website you tend to get abused by some poorly researched individuals - drunken sailor mentioned here being one obvious one but if you see 'TW' referenced on here it is the guy who runs that website that we are referring to.
