Interestingly they are talking about producing concentrate in the same way that we have been suggesting for Mokopane.

Whilst the market is not yet in a position to absorb a massive increase in world production, developments such as Dalian and Fangchenggang indicate that it will very soon. We must remember that Fangchenggang is looking to ultimately consume THREE TIMES THE CURRENT GLOBAL SUPPLY OF VANADIUM. This sort of increase is almost unprecedented. Given that there is very little visibility of significant new supply coming into the chain, it presents existing suppliers with a huge opportunity which is why I said some time ago that I think plans for production by BMN will surprise people. BMN's resources are capable of producing multiples of the current production rate. Assuming Fangchenggang moves to full production on the back of VRFB take up, I see no reason why BMN should not be producing tens of thousands MTV from Vametco, Brits and Mokopane.

Looks like 2+2 really does equal 1000 here. It certainly seems like an appropriate solution to Eskom's issues and would explain the targets for BE although a single customer is a risky strategy to base a sales target on. Unless, of course, you are pretty sure of your position.

So far there doesn't appear to be the same kind of selling that we have seen from the off for the past few weeks so I suspect that some people are tentatively dipping their toes in. Since we were discussing Elliott Waves a few days ago, if 17.1p proves to be the low point in this correction (actually, I am not sure that the midpoint went below 17.5p) and this is a wave 4 correction then the wave 5 target price would be about 70p based on my primitive knowledge of this particular art.

I think that people put too much store by there being a 'plan' for the share price. I suspect that this does not enter FMs thinking at all. Rather, I believe that he focuses on setting a vision and delivering it, knowing that this will inevitably lead to share price appreciation. The 6m sell, however, I believe was significant. This is the kind of transaction that you want to see during a correction as it often marks the culmination of the selling. I am hopeful, without being certain, that this may well be a turning point, or should I say 'resumption' point?

A decent interview, particularly with the suggestions around BE. It will be great to see the plans outlined. There were a couple of points where I just had to sigh though. Firstly, the production upgrade timescale was stated as 'the middle of this year'. Whilst I appreciate that June is, indeed, in the middle of this year, the end of June was only a month away from when this interview was recorded so it would have been nice to have this target reiterated. Of course, hitting production numbers is more important but people will be looking for this to be completed on time. Secondly, Brits drilling. As suspected, this is going unannounced. When most companies release drill results as they come available and some release them in batches, Bushveld is the only company I know that doesn't really release them at all. Again, the important thing is the resource but there are opportunities for shareholder engagement that are missed. These are not big things but they are important and easily rectified. Fortunately, FM is very good at the big, important things so I have no problems with the way in which the company is being run but rather point at the person whom is responsible for PR who should be running with these things. Speaking of Brits, I am starting to think that the resource statement will not cover a significant portion of the resource. Brits is clearly in a position to provide more easily processed material at potentially higher grade than Vametco, meaning lower costs and potentially higher production rates. At this stage only the most easily accessible material need be delineated. Let's face it, if the ore body is anything like Vametco or Mokopane, we only need to prove up 10% of it to provide the plant with years of excellent ore. The duration of the drill campaign was pretty short and I find it unlikely that this would be sufficient to delineate the size of ore body that we are pretty sure it is. I do not believe that this is particularly significant to the share price should it show only a relatively small resource. There is no value attributed to Brits and Vametco doesn't need the ore to be successful, just even more successful.

That's what I am sure we have all been looking out for- a significant sale that (should!) mark the end of this bout of selling. One slightly concerning thing about the trading today has been a large number of 100k sells which has not been the same pattern as 'the seller'. Hopefully not another one about!

Just seen a transaction for 17.1p printed on google! Anyone see the size of the trade as it seems way below other transactions today.

I agree SquirtyFlower - very different today. For many days now we have seen early selling with, quite often, an associated significant delayed sell. Today we have nothing so far and no indication from the price action of selling pressure. So, either a pause or (dare we suggest) an end to the seller.

But LSE just receive a single price. I would agree that it doesn't seem beyond the realms of current technology to provide the fact of whether it is a buy or a sell but there you go.

Knutsfordnotary, Not sure whether you are joking. I am sure you must realise that LSE only receive the trade price and work out (guess) whether it is a buy or sell based on reference to the mid price when it is published.

I wonder how many we will get today? Price activity so far suggests that there may well be sells that haven't been reported yet so will be interesting to see what comes through later.

I tend to agree with your viewpoint with regards the future of Vanadium. My suspicion is that Vanadium will spike very much higher over the next 2-3 years before falling to a level where it will plateau and become far more stable than it has historically been. The question ultimately is whether that plateau is high enough to make the Aura project economically viable. I feel that the high grade zone may prove to be but remain unconvinced about the lower grade material. As regards reserves - my point was that we would not establish economic viability until an FS is carried out and this can only be based on reserves, hence there is likely to be a focus on drilling the high grade zone to gain a greater appreciation of the deposit. You seem to have an understanding of the drivers for Vanadium so I am surprised that I haven't seen you post on the BMN board where I feel you could make a good contribution.

Somtam67, Many apologies for causing offence, even if temporarily! As knuttie has pointed out, it was aimed at espaol who is seemingly desperately trying to singlehandedly give the Spanish a bad name. But he won't succeed. I have Spanish friends and they are lovely! I shouldn't have reacted but his posts are just deliberately aimed at causing offence.
