JEBR, thanks for your calculations and explanations. One small detail; I believe RKH will pay back their interest free loan back from 85% of their SL cashflow rather than 80%. Not hugely significant, but since you are making such a valiant effort at breaking down the numbers you might want to adjust that🙂

Even if the shareprice reaction the day it is announced turns out to be minimal, I will sleep better knowing that my investment have been massively risk-reduced and that the price will steadily climb higher towards first oil. Fireworks or not on announcement day- FID is huge, and anyone with money on the sidelines will have a fantastic opportunity if they can buy in the 70’ies after announcement

To me it’s not black or white. I agree in principle with SH; we appear to have enough funds without the contingency placing. But there could be any number of variables or uncertainties that we are not privy to and as Mirasol points out, we cannot afford to screw this up. In the greater scheme of things it’s insignificant and I will give Sam the benefit of doubt and vote yes, and won’t hold it against him if it turns out to be unnecessary to raise the additional 9 mio.

Please, we have come too far to jeopardise this over what may or may not be either an overcautious board.

I’m not going to torture myself combing through 32 pages of fine print. For me, the choice is simple: we are on the cusp of realising a dream many of us have held for over 15 years. Now is the time to back our board, not undermine the process because of disappointment over the placing price, share count, or the fact that institutions always seem to get the inside track. Sam and the board are heavily invested personally — they want this to succeed as much as we do. Why would they settle for anything less than the best deal available?

I’ll gladly take a slightly smaller slice of a major success over 100% of nothing. That’s why I’ll be voting in favour of all resolutions and taking up my open offer allocation — plus applying for more.

Most investors would be delighted with a 100% return over five years on a given equity. If we get this past FID, I firmly believe there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell we’ll be under 144p in five years — more likely, we’ll be at multiples of that. And by then, today’s debates about placing terms or market fairness will be irrelevant, long forgotten.

We’ve waited long enough. Let’s get this over the line.

Mogger, or anyone else; do we have any insights into the purpose of this meeting that may help assess the risk of funding being blocked? Is it a formality or is there a real risk of it being rejected by Navitas “participation unit holders” (I think the term is) and thereby send us back to square one? I have so far considered this a very low risk, but that may be wishful thinking on my part?

I am - and will remain - fully (as in wife-would-probably-leave-me-if-she-knew territory) invested regardless, but i like to brace myself for any potential disappointments lol…

Could we also be hearing soon what RKH decides to do with the OM arbitration? While it’s a sideshow and not important compared to all the other developments we await, it could still provide some future upside, depending on their decision/options. Plus it would massively satisfy my sense of justice if the Italians were not let off the hook…😁
