I agree. A partner coming in, would instantly remove all doubt about the current market value for rkh, and the share price would be priced accordingly.
Let’s say a third party buy 20% off Navitas at 3$ pr barrel.
917 x 0.20 x 3 =USD 550.2
That values RKH at USD 963 mio
983 x 0.82 =GBP 806.06 / 650.000.000 =1.24 GBP/share
That’s using a very low valuation imo, and without factoring in Isobel, OM etc…
That alone is a 3.5 X todays share price, and could literally happen any time. Not saying it will, but it is a very possible and even then it will only represent the core value of Sealion at current progress. As we approach first oil or indeed when we are pumping oil, Isobel is being drilled and appraised, the media coverage on the Falkland oil story is widespread and the investor frenzy sets in, these low valuations will be long forgotten.
