@KevR, If its a 5 minute candle, within the spread, say 0.7/0.75, Red just means the last trade was lower than the first trade during the period that candle represents..so you need a sequence of candles to show the trend
If it was a longer period like 1 hour, a long candle spanning multiple spread, like 0.6/0.75, its likely selling pressure

If you had 9 buys at say 0.75, one at 0.7, and then the final trade was 0.75, be a dash with a tail(down).
If you had 9 buys at say 0.75, one at 0.8, and then the final trade was 0.75, be a dash with a wick(up).
0.75/0.75 a dash, no colour

Been looking at my account valuations for a particular share where I have set some targets, and noticed my accounts valuation for the percentage gain is not what I expected, after buying back after a sell, ...

To keep the calculations simple I tend to sell and buy in blocks of the same size, so work my profit/loss as individual trades, not average.
But every time I buy the same share, its appears to be averaged, with the previous average, to give you a cost per share, and a new book cost..
So averaging in a new trade, is not the same as averaging all your trades, and can distort the true cost of shares you intend to keep long term, while trading a few of the same..especially when buying and selling lows..

So the Average of ..3,6,9
3+6+9/3=6
Averaging up after each increment..3, 6 then 9
3+6/2=4.5
4.5+9/2=6.75(not 6)

Averaging down 9, 6, 3
9+6+3/3=6
After each reduction
9+6/2=7.5
7.5+3=5.25(not 6)

Might explain,why my valuations dont reflect what I really paid for He1 main holding,

Was seeing the odd 0.711 trade through the morning, which I thought odd as 0.7 was the bid..
So expected the odd sell at 0.7 and the rest the going rate, say 0.731, but its seems we have fallen to 0.712..
So down substantially from the peak this morning...
Mmmmmmm, getting to decision time
last time I sold to protect from going into a loss I ended up buying back for more..

@KevR, trouble is we have'nt worked out what this drill is worth, so purely speculating on a traders share..
So being out played, until the pump comes, if it does...

And the drops are not big enough to tempt trading unless you have a big position..
Best sell price I got was 0.761 today, yesterday 0.752, so to buy back today, at around ~0.740, is about £100-200 profit for 1m shares,

Somebody just got fleeced selling at 0.7, those free trade accounts cost people, that was £250 less than the going rate

Here is something to check with your accounts...
