@Tro, only thing is a bit more would'nt have been enough, as they needed to raise another 6m.. Also they failed to control costs, so would have likely blown what ever they had in the bank.. They basically bankrupted themselves, and that turned out to be the biggest highlight of the drill..

Liberum are an Invest Bank, and one of the MM trading He1 shares, being the house broker they would have had all they info they needed to predict the over spend before He1 announced it.. I doubt they would pass up any chance of a profit at the expense of the pi, even if they felt some warmth towards the company..

Maybe Monkey was just ramping, to get others to buy the spike.....

Mmmmm. looks like OJ reads this BB, if you use the term forward selling loosely for any form of transaction in advance of predicted event/situation.... then it covers a lot of things... Liberum an Investment Bank, and one of the MM likely would have had all the insider info to know exactly where He1 was heading

@sdg1970, big difference 88e get their drills done, and it does'nt take 2 weeks to rig up, all in extreme weather conditions too...

And they get their raises done without being fleeced by the city boys:)

Trouble is once a penny share always a penny share,, 88e has nothing really to support its price, only what traders think its worth...Trust my luck to be in early for the testing, and have consolidation hanging over it..and warrants at 0.39p

Blooming bought on that 0.31p shares issue, then although being fully funded they decided to raise to cover their JV not contributing their share....

@D-Geeman, you will be looking for a PRD style update, something to suggest future potential, and keep the suspense...

Like their high pressure gas update, which after initial selling went on to multibag, something like 8p-20p.. back at 9p still waiting to test ...

Consolidation has been mentioned by management, not sure its a good idea, potential faster drift down, after all its a haypny shares

88e, its a traders shares.. Not sure the volume matters as everybody can afford more...

What could be different is their new interest in Africa, and how that is interpreted. They issued new shares to their African JV partners instead of raising cash from the market.. But I assumed the partners will need to sell them to fund operations.. I think they were issued at 0.31p.

Then 88e raised at 0.23p to fund the up and coming testing to cover the Alaskan partners costs as they struggle with funds..

For some reason 0.4p springs to mind, maybe some warrants coming into the money.. will need to check..

According to Lorna's comments in the RNS they were in the process of rigging up 21st Dec.. 2 weeks rig up, no wonder they ran out of money ;)

2.4bn that only requires 2400x 1m buyers..

88e, its hard to distinguish buys from sells today, looks mainly sells to me ?.. I remember thinking a little while back that the MM was selling placing shares higher than the buys, in a manipulated upward trend, so selling at the price due in a day or two.. crazy theory but its 3 days to settle....

@Rp7, its probably a free trade account splitting the trade into smaller lots....seen some mention the trades are not submitted until the batch is large enough, and single trades sometimes get parked up..

There are 5, at same price and time, 1st is marked as a buy, ?

Its hard to say, some of those TR1s report positions before the cash box happened. When it became possibly to buy 1M for just £2.5K as opposed to £30K just before funding was announced

Conspiracies, nobody knows what goes on behind the scenes, nobody knows when the unsolicited approaches were made, but when claiming fully funded after completing Tai drilling, why would there be any approaches ?

If you read the funding RNS, they start by saying they are in the process of a costing exercise, to ensure they can complete(not start) drilling that has made them aware they MAY require contingency funding(unforeseen future events)...

Next breath they have completed the funding, and need funds before Itumbula can be drilled..

Since the costing was complete there was no need to mention the 1st part, but it helps create a totally different picture to the completed outcome..

Combined suggests they cant start Itumbula without the funds to complete, rather than skint
